The moment Florence saw Ace fall into the water after being shot, she quickly got into the water and took off Ace's clothes then swam towards the rock to hide him there. The area was dark, it was hard to see. The cops used the flash light to look for him but only found his clothes floating in the water. Florence waited till the police left, then called one of her friends who was a Doctor and helped to resuscitate Ace before they took him to the hospital.  

Ace only spent two nights in the hospital in California. Florence was so scared that someone there might recognize Ace.

          " So what are you going to do with him? Her friend asked. I don't want to get involved in this, Florence. I only helped you because you are my friend. 

           " That's why I need to get him out of here. But I don't know if that would be possible, unless she smiled. I ask them to transfer him to a far place.
