Back then their power had been on par with the main realm gods before they had gone to war among each other and fell one by one.

For one, the collapse of the dark Fae realm was mostly because of the high king Barikus. 


At that time, the high fairies were mostly just Fairies who lived freely without rules or restraint. Their nature was dark; capturing and torturing many other species in the surrounding realms, even the famed Light Fairies could not escape.
