Eyes on the prize

(Aiden's POV)

His eyes were fixed on the man now on his feet, it seemed he was not so scary after all that a mere werewolf would stand up and look him in the eye and tell him the person he wanted wasn't part of the pathetic omegas he was keeping. Aiden knew what he wanted, and he was patient enough to ask where his little target was but the man who was in charge of the omegas said otherwise

"I respect your request alpha...but I'm afraid the little female in question has already been taken, "Parker said shrewdly with his head lowered to the floor failing to keep eye contact with the vicious alpha before him. Aiden narrowed his eyes as he walked around the place as if he was thinking about the statement he just got. He knew just how much he disliked liars. He could smell a lie from a mile away and people who lied to him knew any better than to keep the little liar and now turning to Parker, his expression darkened as he glanced towards his men who were ready to tear an old werewolf limb to limb and tore him apart until nothing was left of him. As if parker saw the alpha's anger he fell to the floor again as he kowtowed begging for his pathetic life to be spared

"P...please alpha...if...if I had such a female in my possession then...then wouldn't I have given her..., please spare my life" he pathetically cried out while begging, his voice was annoying to the alpha's ears as he nodded sarcastically. Aiden was a generous alpha despite the reputation he had, a small smirk tugged at the corners of his lips as he retreated from the old man lying to him. He continued backing away until he was close to the entrance, leaving his men surrounding the old man, who didn't notice a thing. Not only that, but he already asked once, that was the alpha way he never said things twice unless someone wanted to die and because he owned them all. They were all his and he had the rights over them. To do what he wanted because they were nothing but pathetic slaves who he even gave a face to and treated nicely. he hated interacting with the lower ranks, that was why he gave Parker the utmost permission and power to govern his little camp of omegas he took from the packs he disintegrated and killed their alpha. Aiden was the only alpha alive and if anyone thought of themselves as superior to me, then they deserved to die

"Chop his hands off," he said for the first time and turned to walk away. If Parker was going to act smart with the alpha, then how about showing him who's boss, hence having his body parts removed, was something he could do easily. Hearing the alpha's words he didn't even have to turn to see the old werewolf begging on his knees, Aiden knew Parker was just a shrewd old werewolf who thought he could fool the alpha, and before he could walk out he heard him surrender and knowing he feared dying and turning around, he was surrounded by his wolves, and they looked hungry to tear him apart and seeing the hunger in their eyes Parker was trembling in fear as he wiped the sweat from his forehead and lifted his head to look at the alpha. Aiden stood there like an alpha he was, dressed in black from head to toe which made him look imposing and intimidating.

"I'm sure she isn't what you want my alpha...the female is useless and just like any other omega...you don't have to bother with her because I have assembled more gifted females you can take"like a shrewd old man he was, parker said with a sly smile as he made his way to where Aiden was. He looked down at him since he was shorter. Not only that, but Aiden was aware of his old tactics, that was why he was once a beta and his alpha was someone who thought they had the entire werewolf race within their grasp until he showed up and put them in their place. Not only that, but he commanded and ruled with an iron fist, and now he ignored Parker's remarks and fixed his eyes to the entrance where parker had come out earlier. Likewise, he knew his prize was somewhere here, he never missed a target and the first thing he noticed when he entered the shabby omega territory was a certain female who happened to attract his interest

Within seconds he was graced with a half-naked female chained like a criminal she was conscious yet couldn't control herself. Aiden's sharp eyes followed to where his men were taking her and carefully, they laid her down before his feet. Parker seemed to be uncomfortable as his gaze lowered, Aiden saw his nervousness and ignored parker as he looked down at the blindfolded female. She had bruises and cuts on her skin and just a whiff at her and he guessed she was injected with wolfsbane. Aiden shifted his gaze to parker who was on his knees begging

"A...alpha…she...she was selected a long time ago that's...that's why I had to seclude her from the others...please spare my life" he begged like a pathetic dog he was, but my expression turned deadly

"I make the first pick...chop his hands off for touching my little prize"Aiden gave his orders and turned to leave, his men nodded and knew what he meant. The other three lifted the female and followed him out of the old crumbling building which would collapse at just his growl, but he hated wasting time, and hence he made his way out of there. Aiden still had to get more of the slaves, especially male omegas, to extend his army.

(Isla's POV)

I didn't know what was happening, a minute ago, I was trying to slide my hand out of the chains when the rusty door opened so unexpectedly that I quickly stopped what I was doing. Three strangers walked in. I was stunned when they unchained me from the wall and I dropped to the cold hard ground, which smelled awful. I thought I was finally sold and my life was over; however, the men blindfolded me with a black cloth which prevented me from seeing anything other than total darkness. Not only that but I was dragged away, not sure where they were taking me but unlike the entrance, the other men used to get me in. Not only that, but I consciously counted the number of corners we took, and they were four before we reached some hall. Although I couldn't see exactly where I was, I heard Parker begging for someone to spare his life, and I was thrown on the cold floor. I wanted to find out who was in the room, but I was losing consciousness, and just when I heard a deep rough masculine voice speak which was nothing like I heard before. It carried authority as well as a certain aura which would have anyone getting scared because even I feared and knew I was doomed before I passed out

"W...water...water" I slowly muttered as I shifted on whatever I was lying on, I was uncomfortable, and my head felt heavy. My eyes couldn't open, which made me frustrated as I shouted for water. My throat was so dry that I felt so bad and lifted my head. I tried to move my legs, and they didn't feel restrained. I moved my hands, and they weren't tied either, since I opened my eyes instantly only to find myself in a small room, my clothes were torn a little but that was less of my worries. the room was slightly dark, but I could see properly and there was only a small bed which didn't look nice and a wooden table with nothing on it. The room had no windows which scared me as I jumped out of the bed, nearly falling, but I balanced on my feet and rushed to the door.

"W...where am I?" I muttered hoarsely and grabbed the doorknob, I slowly and quietly turned it hoping it wasn't locked and yes, it wasn't locked

"Okay Isla...calm yourself...this is dangerous," I told myself as I quietly opened the door, not wide but enough for me to peek out and scan my surroundings before I thought of escaping. I swallowed hard as my throat burned from dryness which made it difficult for me to swallow saliva again "this is risky who knows where they brought you"I said again this time I peeked out to see if people were guarding the area but there was no one, the coast was clear hence I opened the door wide enough for my body to slide through and immediately I got out, I made a run for it without even knowing where the dark long passageway led to, I just wanted to escape and go back to my sister.
