Kathy was never asked to go outside of the house; she was asked to stay indoors until something happened.
She saw someone who she wasn't supposed to see.

She told her mother about him, the person she saw. The day she told her mum changed her life.
She got to see what the world looks like because her mom and dad took her away from the house to another house.
They were trying to keep her safe unknown to Kathy.

Her mum told her not to come out of the house but Kathy made a new friend, she even went to the same school with her.

Stephen had some fun before he left although Khalid never left us alone and I found it  surprising because Khalid was clinging to me.


"After Stephen had left I turned to Khalid." Khalid, what is wrong with you? What are you doing?

I scoffed at him. "Did you do something wrong? Khalid, are you trying to say that you don't know what you did?."


Yes, I don't know what I did so tell him.


Khalid why are you being hard on him, stop being an old dude and leave the young guy alone. You are older than him for goodness sake.
