REUNION

CLARA

I was living in dream land, all that I ever wanted was being realized. I couldn't ask for more. I had reason to be happy. Seeing someone after so many years was like meeting them for the first time. When I first saw Clive after all this time my wolf was leaping, my heart was leaping. I knew he was different from the Clive I saw in my dreams but it did not matter, he was still my Clive, my mate.

"Claret?" I heard him ask. I knew he wasn't sure if it was me and he needed to know if his mate was alive.

"Yes, Clive. I'm so sorry," I said, walking over to him.

"Oh my mate, my Claret," he said, his arms wrapped around me as he dug his face into my shoulder.

"Clivy, Clivy," I whimpered and dug my head into his chest, starting to cry.
