Clara is separated from her mate while still young by kidnappers and held in captivity until when by chance she learns that she is part of a prophecy.

Upon escaping she reunites with her parents and discovers her mate, but her kidnappers are looking for her.

What happens when they get hold of her again? Will the prophecy be fulfilled?

THE PROPHESIED LUNA

Clive led me outside and towards the woods. I could see little paper lanterns hanging from the trees, creating a soft glow and I saw that it led down a path into the woods.


"Clive, where are we going?" I asked curiously. I couldn't help it. My nerves were jumbled and my heart was racing.


"Well my little one, it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you, would it?" He said and kissed me on the nose. Before taking my hand again.


Our fingers were intertwined and I gripped his tightly He led me into the forest and down the path where the paper lanterns shined. They were an array of pinks, reds, and oranges. Even though the sun was still shining the forest was dark from the cover of the trees.


I reached up with my hand that wasn't attached to Clive's and ran my fingers over the smooth paper of the lanterns. My fingertips barely grazed them. As we continued to walk, I saw a clearing up ahead. I let go of Clive's hand and ran towards it.
