When I got to the kids, instead of smiling faces, they were all sad, they also looked malnourished and not clothed properly.

“Hey cutie” I waved to the one who was looking at me like I took her candies from her.

But she didn't respond instead she rolled her eyes at me.

“That's weird” I muttered to myself.

“Would you like to play with aunty?” I asked again pretending like I never saw her rolled her eyes at me.

“would you like some candies?" I asked again but this time, she looked up and I realised she was hiding something beneath her cloth.

“can I see that?” I asked again but got no reply from either of them, I have to device another plan.

I went to the end of the fenced wall to get some wet sand.

I started building s snow house with my legs.

“Hey, Amanda take look at that” one of the boys said tapping the other girl while pointing towards my direction, she raised her head and took a glance towards my snow house and I knew this was the perfect time to act.

“Would you like to build a house like mine?" I asked, but this time all their attention was averted to me.

“Come on, get over there and get a heap of sand" I said, and they all ran to different dimension to get a bucket, each came with their heap of sand. They all sat down to start building, but the girl whom I got to know as Amanda came with her textbook. “She must be a nerd just like me”. 

“Would you mind me taking a look at your book?” I asked and she gave the book to me.

“Hey aunt, take a look at my house” a kid called out to me.

“You can call me Stacey, so why are you all not in school? You are supposed to be in school right?"

“Aunt Kira said kids like us aren't supposed to go to school, she said we are too wise to be in school" Amanda answered.

“She said it's wasting of time and money” the little boy whom I got to know as Daniel added.

"Why would she say a thing like that? I asked facing the two kids who haven't said anything since I came.

“She's very mean" Dan said again.

“why don't we introduce ourselves" I said gesturing towards those silent ones who wouldn't smile or say anything.

“My name is Kimberly and this is my brother Gray” she answered.

“So Gray how old are you?"

“I'm Seven and Kim is Ten" he answered innocently.

“So have you guys eaten anything?"

“No aunt Kira didn't give us any food" he answered sadly.

“who is this wicked Kira, that has no sympathy for kids?" I asked no one in particular.

“Babe!!!" Ray called from Afar.

“Give me a second” I shouted back, and turned towards the kids “build your snow house, I will be right back” they nodded their heads.

I got to where Ray was standing, “he look so f**cking handsome” i complimented inwardly but then I remembered something “Where is your girlfriend? Who is she?, I can't believe you were already cheating on me even before we met” I really don't know what's wrong with me, or why I asked such a stupid question.

“Come with me” he said and pulled my hand along.

He took me into the orphanage, and I was welcome by a woman who wouldn't stop smiling for no reason.

“Oh my, you look very beautiful, and that's why you were able to take my boyfriend away from me” she said dramatically.

I guess I've seen someone more worse than Dylan, how am I sure she wasn't his mother, I mean there's no difference between the both of them.

I looked at Ray and saw him smirking dubiously at me.

“Aunt, meet my mate Stacey, and Stacey meet ma'am Veronica” he introduced the both of us.

“Why didn't you tell her I'm your girlfriend?” she whined.

“Oh my gosh, she's his girlfriend? And I was getting mad and jealous for no reason”.

I turned towards Ray again and he looking at me with “Do you believe me now” eyes, but I acted like I didn't see that.

“So Stacey, you are more beautiful than I imagined” ma'am Veronica complimented.

“Thanks ma'am"

“would you like to take a tour around the orphanage?” she asked.

“Yeah, sure” I said, but something caught my attention, like someone was eavesdropping on our conversation, I tried taking a glimpse of the person,but it was too late as the person already ran out, but I knew it was a lady and maybe she could be the Kira the kids has been talking about.

After taking a tour, I realized that the orphanage looked so old and dirty.

“So ma'am Veronica, why did you call Ray your boyfriend?” 

I asked playfully.

“Oh, that was a long time ago...” 

“No don't tell her, please aunt, don't tell her” Ray shouted trying to stop ma'am Veronica from saying further.

“I do come for visit the. Alpha King, and when coming I always come with fruits a lots of fruit, but Ray favorite fruit was orange, but one day I came as usual but couldn't find Ray, after a fruitless search by the Alpha king and the Luna we were heading back inside when I head Ray screaming my name, so i head back, and guess what?” she asked looking at Ray.

“Aunt please don't say it” Ray pleaded giving her a puppy eyes but I guess aunt didn't fall for it, while I wait impatiently for the story.

“I met Ray hanged on a tree, crying, I brought him down and he happily told me that he loved and would marry me.

After listening to the story I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

I laughed loudly and I turned to Ray who was glaring at me, making me laugh harder.

“So aunt, the orphanage look so old, what happened? And the kids ain't in school and not dressed properly" 

“Kira is the one in charge of the kids” she answered.

“okay, we would like to take our leave” i said dragging Ray along.

“Okay, bye” she waved at us while we left.

While we were in the car I brought up the discussion.

“Ray, something looks fishy, in the orphanage”
