Stacey's POV

Silence!

An awkward silence!

A very awkward silence!

Ray and I sits on a love sofa opposite Aunt, her gaze is solely on me... and to make matters worse, she wears a knowing smirk.

I couldn't take it anymore, so I move closer to Ray.. impossibly closer to Ray.

I grab his arm and hide my face on his back, slightly.

Ray clears. "Mom, stop staring at my baby, you're embarrassing her!"

Aunt ignores him and starts looking between us... My cheeks flame up, I take a peek at Ray and notice his ears and neck all red.

He's blushing!

"Mom!" Ray calls aunt.

She suddenly bursts into laughter, making me sink more into my embarrassment.

So laughs so hard that she's holding her stomach, tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

"Mom, stop it!"

Aunt laughs a few more minutes then sobers up, though she's still fighting to hold back her laughter.

"I have never in my life imagine I'll walk in on my son and daughter-in-law mating!"

Aunt pause and stares at us again, then raises her hands up.

"I swear, I didn't hear or see anything!"

She holds her cheeks and puffs out air from her mouth.. she uses her hands to fan herself as if the living room is too hot.

"Oh my goodness! I'm blushing! I'm blushing!" She chants.

I face palm myself. Why didn't we lock the door?!

She wouldn't have barge in if the door was locked! Then I remembered it was Ray who carried me in like a cave man!

He didn't lock the door! This is all his fault!

I grab his skin, just below his ribcage and give him a very hard pinch.

He whines but quickly clears his throat to cover it up.

"Mom, what are you doing here?" He asked.

"I thought you guys won't go to school today after what the seer said, so I came to check on you guys... "

She trails off and look between Ray and I mischievously.

"I didn't expect I'd witness you two..... " She didn't complete her statement.

She covers her face with her hands... Even though she didn't finish her words, I still know what she wants to say.

Aunt giggles excitedly. I frown slightly, why is she getting all giddy? I'm the one caught in the act!

I guess aunt is even more of a drama queen than Dylan!

"Er.. as you can see we're both fine, you can go back now!" Ray said.

Aunt nods in agreement.

"Yes! You're fine! Very fine! Super fine!" She said and winks at me.

I bite my tongue.

"But I'm not leaving yet!"

"What?! Why?!" Ray asked.

"I came here for three reasons!"

I hear Ray sighs, aunt hears him too but ignores him and continue.

"First, I came to check on you, to know if you're ok... But from what I witnessed, you are ok and don't need any consolation, right Stacey?"

I tensed hearing her ask me such question.

"Y-yes!" I answer in a short stutter.

"Secondly, Ray, your dad wants to see you... it's about your uncle!"

Ray tensed as he heard that, I see his fist clenching and I leans forward slightly to study his expression.

Anger was clearly written in his eyes... Anger and hatred are the only things in his eyes.

I wonder what happened!

"You could have mind-link me and tell me!"

"Shut up, young man!" She scolds him.

Aunt turns her gaze to me and smile.

"Thirdly, I wanna have a chat with Stacey. We haven't sit down and talk as mother-in-law and daughter-in-law!"

Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law? What does she wanna know about me?

"There's a lot of things I don't know about you, dear!"

I simply smile and nod. Ray turns to aunt with narrowed eyes.

"I don't wanna hear anything about that bastard! Tell dad I'm busy!"

"No, I'm not gonna tell him that. Get up and get your butts to the palace now!" Aunt said in a pleading tone...though she sounded a bit harsh.

"No!"

Aunt bangs the table and Ray growls quietly... I guess he doesn't like how his mom bangs on the table.

But all he could do is growl, she's his mother after all.

"I'm not asking you, I'm ordering you! Get you up!" She growls and I flinch back slightly.

Since I knew aunt, today's the first I seen her being bossy... Ray gets up grumpily.

"I'll keep Stacey company!" Aunt said.

He doesn't say a word, he heads to the door angrily and shuts it with in a loud bang as he steps out.

Hmm, why does he hates his uncle? Is there some kind of feud between them? Who is this uncle anyway?!

I snap back to reality when aunt jumps on the sofa, and sits on the position where Ray just sat a few seconds ago.

"A-aunt...."

She grabs my hands and stares at me lovingly... in her eyes I can see love, the kind of love a mother carries for her child.

"Stacey, darling, you don't have to be shy around me, I totally understand!"

Understand what?!

"You're both young... it's my fault for barging in like that, I'm sorry!"

Oh god! Isn't it embarrassing enough that she caught Ray and I having sex? Must she bring it up?

She laughs lightly and caresses my cheek.

"You're blushing all over!" She said.

"Aunt, can we talk about something else?" I asked politely.

She chuckles.

"Of course, dear, you're so shy!"

"Er.... " I trail off.

Aunt shakes her head and clears her throat.

"Well, I came because I need your help with something!"

"What is it, aunt?" I asked.

"I want you to accompany me write some invitations!"

"Invitations?"

She nods.

"Are we having a party?"

"Yes, your induction ceremony! We'll send invitations to Lunas of all the packs.. I want you to accompany me while I write them!"

Induction ceremony! The name explains it all, I think it should be a ceremony to welcome me into the pack.

"Are the invitations handwritten?" I asked.

"Yes"

Handwritten? That's so outdated, this is the 21century..nobody sends a handwritten letters now.

She can just send the invitations via email...or maybe the Lunas aren't much.

"How many Lunas are we inviting?"

"67!"

My eyes grows wide, I can imagine them falling off my eye sockets.

"67?!"

She nods. When is she gonna finish writing them?

"Can't you send them via email?"

"No, it's more respectful and sincere when it's handwritten!" She explains.

"B-but, b-but that's so much work!" I exclaims.

She smiles.

"Don't panic, hon. We aren't finishing it today, we will do it bit by bit!"

I sighs, better! I can't imagine me sitting down and writing letters to 67 people...my neck spring will break and my shoulders will pull off.

"Also, you're coming with me to the ballroom to check out some designs and choose colors for curtains...the event planner will arrive soon!"

"When is the induction ceremony holding?"

"Next week!"

I simply nod. She gets up and picks her purse, then gives me her hand.

I take it and she helps me up.

"Let's go!" She said. "You're going to learn how to be a Luna!"

Writer's pov

King's office....!

Ray storms into his father's office without knocking and sits on a chair in front of his father's desk.

Two pile of files heap on the table.. the pile on the right side are already signed and the pile on the left aren't signed yet.

"Dad, mom said you're looking for me?"

His father raised his head and drops the pen he was holding on the table... He puts his elbows on the table and crosses his fingers.

"Where are your manner?" His father asked.

Ray frown like he doesn't understand.

"I have told you, in this office or my palace, I am your alpha King.. you can call me dad at home!"

Ray rolls his eyes and gets up, he steps out and knocks on the door.

"Come in!" His father said.

He strolls in and bows slightly.

"Alpha!"

"Sit!" His father shows him the chair he was just sitting.

He sits down and folds his arms across his chest.

"I sent for you to let you know the elders change their minds and we're holding your coronation and your mate's induction next week!"

Ray raised an eyebrow.

"Next week? Aren't I going to alpha Dimitri's birthday party next week?"

"We're holding the coronation and induction ceremony before the birthday... so I want you and your mate to prepare!"

Ray nods.

"I believe you've mated?"

Ray look away from his dad and scratches the back of his neck nervously.. his ears turns pink.

"Dad, that isn't something I can discuss with you!"

"Well, I'll take that as a yes. The sex part will be cancelled from the induction since it's not needed now!"

Ray nods and sighs in relieve, he smiles.

"That's better!"

Then there's a brief silence as his father goes back to signing a file. Ray clears his throat.

"Dad, if that's all, I'll take my leave!"

"Wait!"

His father clears his throat, he closes the file he was signing and dropped the pen again.

"About the seer's prophecy, I find it a bit suspicious!" He said.

This catches Raymond's full attention, he leans on the table to balance himself.

"I know about the prophecy, but my dad.. which is your grandfather.. once told me, that the prophecy happened during the reign of his great grand father!"

Ray frown.

"It has happened?! During the reign of his great grand father?!" Ray asked.

His father nods.

He reaches for his locker and rampages through it, he brings out a very old paper and drops it on the table...the paper is so thick.

Ray quickly picks it and opens it...he reads it to himself.

".. when the two species (the witches and the wolves) are in peace.. a female child will be born, her birth will creat havoc and chaos in the supernatural world... she'll be mated with the alpha King and shall be the queen of witches.. witches shall wage war with wolves to claim their queen.. only her mate can bring peace to the supernatural world...only her mate can save her... A life for a life!"

Ray drops the paper on the table slowly and frowns at his dad for further explanation.

"As you have just read, the prophecy about the witches and wolves is true but there's no mention of a vampire prince mate!"

Ray quickly recalls what he read and realizes there really was no mention of a vampire prince.
