Stacey's POV

"Are we no longer going to collect the drone from ypur friend again" i asked Juliet who wouldn't stop pacing up and down.

"Don't worry, he's gonna bring it by himself".

Jessy came out of the kitchen with a tray of food. Well i don't need anyone to tell me that's a fried chicken cause i can literally perceive the delicious aroma from here. But i think my problem won't let me eat that.

"Hey Stacey, food is ready" she said bringing the tray closer to my nose.

"Do you wanna burn my nose?" 

"Of course not, i only wanted you to perceive the sweet aroma of my fried chicken" she defended dropping the tray on the table in the dinning.

"Well sorry cause i didn't perceive anything. That means your chicken stinks".

"You of al people should know i'm a good cook, so whatever you say will be taken as a joke by me".

"Let's go and eat" Juliet spoke.

She talks with wisdom and sense, i wonder what made her do all those things in the past. Well people change. We all walked to the dinning while Jessy served us our food, making me wonder if she doesn't get tired. I mean she's been working since we came back from school.

We were still having lunch when my cell phone rang disrupting our quiet lunch.

After checking the caller's Id, i decided not to pick.

"Why aren't you picking? Jessy asked.

"Well i just don't wanna pick".

"Is it Ray" Juliet asked quietly.

"Yes".

"Why don't you pick and hear what he has to say, if you keep on ignoring his calls how would you know what he wants to tell you" she added again.

"Whatever he has to say can wait till after lunch cause i'm not in the mood to talk to anyone".

"But you just talked to us? Jessy chirped in.

"You guys are my friend not just anyone" i answered back as they won't stop giving me these weird glances.

"If we are you friends then who is he? Juliet asked with a smile tugging at the corner of her lips.

"He's just a stupid mate who doesn't know how to treat a woman with love and care" I snorted.

"Why are you guys looking at me like that?"

"Cause your mate is right behind you" it was Juliet who said that. Making my cutleries drop from my hands on their own.

"Really babe? I'm a mate who doesn't know how to treat a woman with love and care. Really?" Someone asked from behind. Well i don't need a soothsayer to tell me it was Ray whi said that.

"What are you doing here? I asked with all the anger I've been trying to hide from Jessy and Juliet.

"Babe, calm down, i can explain everything".

"Well i don't want to hear your explanation, now get out and never return" i said facing him.

But my whole body wanna do something else, i just found myself wanting to draw him near and kiss the life out of him. But i can't cause he insulted me in from of that b*tch, i won't forgive him easily.

"Just let me explain".

"I don't wanna hear ypur explanation just leave and for your information i'm not coming back to that house" i retorted before sitting back.

"Please Ray, just leave before i do something crazy".

"Okay i will leave but i will come back later" he said before storming out.

"Why would you do that" Jessy asked immediately Ray left.

"Do what" i asked cluelessly.

"Why did you chase him out like that without even waiting for his explanation?"

"He deserves it and please don't ask me any questions again".

Juliet's phone rang immediately. She answered and after the conversation, she ran to the flinging it wide open for whoever that was outside to come in.

A well built handsome man walked in. Well he isn't as handsome as Ray, he should be older that Ray with some years.

"Who is she? Cause I've never seen her in this pack before i left" was the first question he asked as soon as he walked in.

"This is Stacey, Our future Luna" Juliet introduced.

"Ow pardon my manner Luna" he said bowing a little.

"So where is the drone" Juliet asked impatiently.

"Calm down it's right here with me" he said bringing the drone out of his bag.

"How long will this go? Juliet asked. Seems she knows a lot about drones.

"It is programmed to go for two and half hours" he answered handing the drone over to Juliet.

"Thanks for your help once again".

"You don't have to thanks me, this is also my pack and i would do anything to protect it" he said and left.

"So what's the next plan? I asked.

"We need to spy on them and know when they want to leave" Juliet answered.

"But how are we going to do that?"

"You don't have to worry, with this we can do that" she said bringing out a little black box shaped tiny recorder.

"What are we gonna do with that? It was Jessy who asked that question.

"Tomorrow, i want to to meet with Florian. Do everything you can to put this on his hair or shirt and don't let him notice. As soon as you fix it, we would be able to hear whatever he's saying" she warned.

"You don't have to worry, i got it under control" i said snatching the recorder away from her. Tomorrow is definitely gonna be a long day.
