Milena's POV
Lightning bolts descended from the sky to indicate it was about to rain. My tumultuous day just got worse but I rather stay out here than be anywhere in the world.
The rain poured like it was crying for me. Hard and merciless thus, I decided to go to a club to avoid catching a cold outside. The problem is I didn't take money. I might as well trade my bracelet for accommodation. That could work.
As I sat on a stool to drown myself in sorrow flashes of him envisaged in my head. Our first kiss, his tender eyes. His calloused hands on my skin. The beautiful house he took me to. The fake badge. Idris's expression when I mentioned his name. The look on his face the day he found out I was a virgin. Our night tremendous night together. The day he asked if I would accept him if he was wealthy.
