Stalling for the time

Third person's POV

Olivia has been given an order by her brother not that she's going to obey them. Leaving her boys to do their dirty work means missing out on all the fun which she isn't going to do.

Cone built his hideout in a desolate hive that needed to be scanned. One of the tech guys powered a drone; it flew across the vast land while he watches from a screen. Zooming in a little he discovered there are landmines buried beneath which will be a barrier if they are to leave there alive.

" Can you disconnect them? " Olivia asks swiping her fingers on the screen to look at the formation of the landmines.

" Yes but the thing is. They're wires together. One goes off and so does the rest. Bye life welcome death" the tech guy jokes unknown to him that Olivia isn't there to joke around. She'll do anything to get the organization even though she's likely to relinquish it to Leonard someday.
