Gabriela Mago is a successful artist, creating 'magical' art as some would say. On the side, she also works with her family in the family business - magical protection against dark creatures, trying to invade her reality. 

One evening she starts getting horrific nightmares that are a warning of something most evil coming her way. Gabriela is about to use her abilities as a witch to try to fight them. But not alone.

The smart and attractive businessman Sebastian Vero is coming her way, looking for answers of his own. When a crime is committed in one of his family's businesses, he is firmly set to find the last person to see the stolen ancient book, which is rumored to be tied to black magic and demons.

Together they will look out for the source of the threat. With a few loyal friends, an enchanted necklace, and a magical sword, they will face the danger.  And maybe along the way, they will find something even more important to fight for - their growing feelings for each other.

-Just wait here and keep an eye out - Gabriela cautioned - I believe we are in the clear for now, but let's make it safe. I will keep the warding on the room, so you will not be able to leave until I come back. 


- Can you give me some answers afterwards? - He needed to know what he had gotten himself into. 


- Well, why not? But let it not be here. Why don't we get the book and go out to eat somewhere? Battles make me hungry - She smiled at him with a twinkle in her eye. At the mention of food, Sebastian felt that he was starving. And looking at her he knew it was not only for food. But let's take steps one at a time, he thought to himself. 


He was impressed by her. She was beautiful, clever, and mysterious. A witch and a warrior. How could a man be impartial to that combination? And during their limited conversations, she had a wicked sense of humour as well. Ha, wicked, he smirked to himself. 


- What are you smirking about? - she asked him while moving to the door.
