Gabriela Mago is a successful artist, creating 'magical' art as some would say. On the side, she also works with her family in the family business - magical protection against dark creatures, trying to invade her reality. 

One evening she starts getting horrific nightmares that are a warning of something most evil coming her way. Gabriela is about to use her abilities as a witch to try to fight them. But not alone.

The smart and attractive businessman Sebastian Vero is coming her way, looking for answers of his own. When a crime is committed in one of his family's businesses, he is firmly set to find the last person to see the stolen ancient book, which is rumored to be tied to black magic and demons.

Together they will look out for the source of the threat. With a few loyal friends, an enchanted necklace, and a magical sword, they will face the danger.  And maybe along the way, they will find something even more important to fight for - their growing feelings for each other.

It all made perfect sense. She was lured to interact with the artefact by magic. If she was greedy for power she would have taken it. Seeing that she did not, they moved to the next stage by giving her dreams to discern her stance and power. She was then slowly exposed to its power and systematically attacked to be converted. The plan was meticulous and quite clever.
