Gabriela Mago is a successful artist, creating 'magical' art as some would say. On the side, she also works with her family in the family business - magical protection against dark creatures, trying to invade her reality. 

One evening she starts getting horrific nightmares that are a warning of something most evil coming her way. Gabriela is about to use her abilities as a witch to try to fight them. But not alone.

The smart and attractive businessman Sebastian Vero is coming her way, looking for answers of his own. When a crime is committed in one of his family's businesses, he is firmly set to find the last person to see the stolen ancient book, which is rumored to be tied to black magic and demons.

Together they will look out for the source of the threat. With a few loyal friends, an enchanted necklace, and a magical sword, they will face the danger.  And maybe along the way, they will find something even more important to fight for - their growing feelings for each other.

- You must be very happy to see your grandfather again - Sebastian asked while driving down the highway. He was curious about their talk and a bit put off that he was frozen in time as she described it later on. 


- Oh, it was wonderful - Gabriela responded with a soft smile and reverence in her voice - I missed him so much. I knew that one day he wouldn't be around anymore, but still, it was very hard for me when I lost him. He is the kindest and most wonderful person I know. And the fact that I got a chance to see him again and talk to him fills me with both happiness and sadness. 


- That gives you some hope for what's next, doesn't it? - Sebastian tried to cheer her a little, thinking about his grandfather and how wonderful it would be to have one more conversation with him. He truly missed him. 


- You mean reincarnation, life after death and so on? - she asked for clarification while going through her purse.
