Chapter 2 : Maxim Disappearance

Maxim's body had reached its limit after causing destruction, causing him to collapse and become immobilized on the ground. Despite attempting to move his body, he remained motionless. Meanwhile, magicians and mages in the vicinity began to incant spells, preparing to unleash their powers on Maxim. However, before they could attack him, a mysterious figure in a black mask appeared and whisked him away through a sudden hole in the ground.

Despite a thorough search, Maxim could not be found, leaving the magicians and mages frightened of the potential danger he posed to their country. His destructive power was capable of laying waste to an entire nation, causing even greater fear.

News of this incident quickly spread throughout the world and realms. Even the Demon King Andhaka and the King of the Devils, Idi Amin, were intrigued by the sudden appearance of someone who had surpassed the power of a god.

Upon waking up, Maxim found himself heavily bandaged and in excruciating pain from his wounds. He attempted to move his body, but the pain was too intense. To his surprise, the man who saved him was Jesse James, notorious for his leadership of the James Gang and their history of robberies and murders throughout the Midwest. Maxim became wary upon seeing Jesse, knowing of his reputation for ruthlessness and cunning.

"Why did you save me? What's going on? Why are you helping me?" Maxim demanded, trying to make sense of the situation.

Jesse reassured him, "Relax, my friend. You are a threat to the entire world, and many powerful mages and magicians are searching for you. It would be wise for you to follow my lead, as we are now equals. In just one hour, the number of people you killed surpassed the number I've killed in the last ten years. You are quite the interesting guy."

During their conversation, Jesse James mentioned to Maxim about the incredible power he gained after defeating Arlott, the Mage King. However, Maxim's recent experiences of losing his parents and being tortured by the world had left him with no love for it. His only desire was to seek revenge and destroy the entire world.

Jesse James revealed to Maxim that not only were the mages and magicians of their world searching for him, but even the King of Devils, Idi Amin, and the Demon King, Andhaka, were seeking him out. The entire world was against him, and other realms coveted his powers, making it likely that they would attempt to capture him. With only two options remaining, Maxim could either sacrifice himself or use his power to conquer everything. Jesse encouraged him to learn how to control his power so he could become strong enough to conquer the world, and promised to help him gathering a gang to support him. He urged Maxim to embrace the darkness and train himself to wield his power. Jesse also revealed his own ability to "swim" within the land.

As days turned into weeks and a month passed, Jesse continued to train Maxim to unlock his full potential. After weeks of intense training, Jesse finally introduced him to several of his crew's founding members, all of whom were renowned and merciless mages and magicians. Among them was a formidable fighter known as Ivan the Terrible, who ruled with an iron fist and was infamous for his ability to slay hundreds of people, including his own son, with a single blow.

The second member of the group was Joseph Stalin, a powerful mage who could control thousands of death bodies and skeletons with his magical abilities. Jesse informed Maxim that the remaining three members had already received his message, but for unknown reasons, they were unable to join them at that time. Starting today, Joseph Stalin and Ivan the Terrible will act as his mentors. By following their guidance, he can not only improve his combat skills but also increase his mana reserves.
