They were killing the people precious to him. His rage surged uncontrollably.
Despite the intense anger that welled up within him, the Guardian refrained from yielding to the impulse of tearing Vaelor apart.
Instead, he sought answers, wanting to understand the motive behind Vaelor's cruel actions and the slaughter of the Natives who had never posed any harm.
"Why?" Vaelor retorted, his devilish smirk widening. "Just because I could. Is that a good enough reason? They are so pathetic, that they can't even protect themselves! What a sight! Hahaha!"
Vaelor's callous response made the Guardian's blood boil. He couldn't fathom how someone could revel in the suffering of others.
"Are you feeling angry? If you want to blame someone, why don't you blame yourself? If you had arrived earlier, you could've stopped it," Vaelor stated.
Despite the Guardian's imposing presence, Vaelor remained strangely courageous, leaving some to wonder if he had gone mad or if he was truly eager to die.
