Confused and taken aback, Raven asked, "Whose scent? Who are you?"
Ignoring his questions, the woman floated closer to him, her eyes radiating a mysterious intensity.
"You have something that doesn't belong to you," she said cryptically, a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Something that doesn't belong to me?" Raven repeated, his confusion growing.
The woman's gaze seemed to penetrate his soul as she looked into his eyes.
Before Raven could even react, the woman grabbed his throat, raising him in the air. "That cursed thing! To think that he left it behind!"
The woman's ethereal voice became sharper, to the point that it made his ears bleed. It was as if the beautiful woman had become a demon in an instant, a demon who hated him.
Raven tried to free himself, but her grip only tightened.
"He trapped me in this hell and he dared send his heir to get rewards from this place? Absurd!"
