"Wait, what? This is something that both of you should decide. How can you leave it up to me? And Cecilia might have different plans than the one I choose," Alan protested.

"Cecilia said she has no problem. Just select one for us," Irina reassured him.

Alan thought that he would help narrow down the options, and then Cecilia and Irina would choose the one they wanted or thought would be beneficial to them.
