Sol scratched his cheek, but he didn't hesitate to hold Mar-Yue's hand.
He understood her words before were meant for what would happen after she chose him.
Sol and Mar-Yue looked at Mar-Du as he continued to look at them with that expression. They felt he would do something, perhaps becoming so enraged that he slapped Sol to death out of anger, but instead, he simply glared at Sol before his figure disappeared.
When Mar-Yue saw this, she became worried.
"That isn't like him. He wouldn't normally back down like this, he probably hasn't given up on separating us."
Sol nodded because just before Mar-Du left, he sent him a message with his Soul Energy.
"Leave my daughter."
He said it in a growl as if he was suppressing a volcano-like fury.
Sol smiled awkwardly. The situation had become quite complicated.
