The departure of the King and Queen, the Baron and Baroness, as well as Claude and Larissa de Lanark, coincided with the beginning of the week leading up to Emoria's spring celebration.
This event marked a special occasion for the Archduchess during which she received greetings from noble family leaders in one-on-one meetings to discuss confidential matters. The gathering extended from early morning until noon and was held in the throne room.
The presence of a throne room in a location where the King didn't reside was an uncommon occurrence. This particular chamber had been prepared for the Crown Prince within the Archduchess's manor, a design personally overseen by King Kaiser de Lanark himself following his grandson's birth. It was a fitting setting for the heir to the throne with falcon motifs and paintings illustrating the world map denoting the destiny of the anticipated heir's future rule.
