"You wanted to get this over with, so let's proceed," Egon encouraged, moving ahead in silence with his wife and son following closely behind.
As they crossed the threshold and ventured deeper into the mines, their surroundings were illuminated only by the faint glow of an enormous mana cluster, an entity that shouldn't exist, for mana stones were never known to attain such size.
"...Is that who I believe it to be?" Adela pondered aloud.
Positioned at the heart of the cavernous expanse, a woman lay atop the mana cluster, appearing as if in deep slumber. However, the three of them detected no signs of a heartbeat, and her chest beneath her anachronistic grey dress remained eerily still.
"Unbelievable," Egon muttered.
