Go back home with me?
Surprised by her sister's unexpected request, Adela stared at her pretty face for a prolonged moment.
...Just the two of us?
Reluctantly, her gaze shifted to Andreas who remained impassive as he stared at the ground, comforted by Egon's pat on his shoulder.
Displeased by her husband's unexpected display of unity with Andreas, she considered relocating the conversation with her sister to a more private setting.
"Come, Adela, let's sit over there," Larissa proactively beckoned, extending her finger toward the camellia setting.
"...Yes, let's have a seat; I brewed some tea for you."
Adela strolled through the garden with her sister before settling beneath the camellia.
"Captivating, isn't it?" Adela mumbled, gesturing toward the tree above them. "It provides ample shade in the morning and twinkles with the glow of tiny mana stones suspended from the ceiling between the branches at night."
