START OF ARC 2
------------------------------------------
Far away from the planet on which Ryan lived. Not far, but the planet we are talking about is far, far away. It was so far away that no human could go there even if he or she were a peak mechanical star, aka Mechanical Star (5th Realm).
It was a planet that doesn't have any light source from the vast void that covers every planet. There was no sun or moon like Earth had, and it only had some stars, which could not light up the night as the moon does.
But there was something special about this darkness. Even though during the night, or rather, even in the day, as there is no external light source, darkness spreads its wings, here the darkness itself was bright! It was as if the darkness itself was the light.
It was truly a mystery how darkness had light in quantities that would enable one to see clearly. Darkness surely contained light, just as light itself contained darkness. Both light and darkness were irreplaceable and couldn't exist without each other except in special cases.
Even the elemental attacks of light and darkness contained the opposite element. It's just that the quantity is too low to have any effect, but its importance cannot be taken lightly. Hence, this planet had an equal amount of light in the darkness, which made the world illuminated.
The light was neither giving off any heat nor conducting any heat. But the darkness had a cold attribute, which made the environment cold. Yeah, the place was always cold, but it was in a bearable range without any need for cold jackets or any sort of clothing for the denizens of the planet.
Now, let's look at its denizens and buildings...
The denizens looked more or less human but weren't. It was as if they were a mixed breed between humans and...
Mechs!?!?!? Mechs!?!?! The heck! How can this happen? No! This isn't possible, but here we are. It really looked like a mixed breed between them, but how? How did humans come to this planet? Were they really related to humans? To get answers, let's go to a place while seeing the architecture of the planet and people's lives.
The people were working and living like normal humans. All the buildings were pitch black, while some larger ones had red outlines here and there. It was evident that the larger ones belonged to the nobility or the higher classes that habitually lived here.
The more we travelled forward, the less there were fully pitch-black buildings and the more buildings had red outlines, until we reached an area full of buildings with red outlines. Therefore, this was the region of nobility, and only they were allowed, and this also proved that this planet followed literal kingdom practises.
Even though the red lines became more and more prominent as the building size increased, the black colour was never fully discarded, or more accurately, black was everywhere. The maximum, or red outlines, were only 10% of the total area, while the remaining 90% was black.
It was as if black was the national, or rather planetal, colour of this world, while red indicated the money and power of the owner. People wore clothes of different colours while the black was still there in their clothes in one way or another.
As for the looks of people, they looked more like elves in the context of skin colour, while all the rest were human-Mech fusion. There were people clad in black armour who were probably law enforcement authorities. The people respected each person from the law authority as everyone bowed to them, whether they were commoners or nobles; the law authority was supreme in a sense and feared by all.
The people who were clad in black armour, or rather, law enforcement authority workers, worked directly under the King and were only answerable to the King or the people elected by him. It was only due to this that even nobles respected them as they didn't want to face the wrath of Royal family whose power was absolute and was also the home of strongest.
There were also normal guards, which were a separate wing and not under the control of the king but rather by the nobles who had the power given by the king. This way, nobles lived up to their name as the people who oppressed the common with the help of guards to evade TLA (the law enforcement/enforcing authority).
TLA only interferes if anyone has any qualms or the matter is serious. Small acts of oppression or murder wouldn't make TLA take action unless someone complained. And who was there to complain against nobles? The commoners shut their mouths even if people were killed before them, as TLA wouldn't be there if nobles killed them after filing a case.
As such, despite having TLA, the kingdom cannot be considered a safe heaven for commoners but rather an 'ok' place.
Back to our topic...
In the midst of all these happenings, there was a young man walking through the streets without any care. His clothes were rather peculiar, as they were blue without a tinge of black. Yeah! It was a clothing style that didn't have the so-called planetal colour," aka black.
This young man was walking through the crowded streets without alerting anyone. Or rather, no one was able to see or sense him in any way, and even TLA failed to sense him, much less the normal guards.
As such, he entered the nobility layer and travelled further to the more rich nobility layer. No one, either rich or strong, was able to sense him. Even the formations between layers didn't alert him, and as if he were a ghost, he travelled through traps, formations, and people without alerting anyone or anything.
There was one more speciality about this young man, which was his body. He looked like a normal human! No Mech traits and looked like a complete normal human. But he wasn't. His aura was similar to that of the others who inhabited here, aka the human-Mech crossbreeds.
As for who this young lad was, …..
