The smoke bomb shattered the glass door of the library, landing on the table between Maulana and Mr. V. Both men exchanged shocked glances.
"I got my answer!" Mr. V exclaimed, grabbing Maulana's arm and pulling him away from the table. They sprinted through the library as officers burst in, rifles and masks at the ready.
"Stay where you are! V and Maulana, both of you are under arrest!" the officers shouted. "Any movement will be considered not following our instructions!"
Just then, Radha stormed in, snatching the microphone from the officer's hand. Without a mask, her casual dress and half-white jacket a stark contrast to the tactical gear surrounding her, she declared, "V, I know you're here somewhere. Show yourself to me, and I might show some mercy. It wasn't expected, but it seems you're friends with Maulana now. We'll start firing in 15 seconds!"
With her hand on her hip, Radha closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and stepped out into the hallway. As the firing commenced, Maulana and Mr. V hid behind shelves.
Maulana's eyes widened as the stick reappeared in his hand. "Yep, gotta use my powers!" Mr. V's voice was calm and collected. "No need."
With a swift transformation, Mr. V's hand morphed into a giant one, and he leapt into the open space between the shelves. The officers were caught off guard as Mr. V's giant hand knocked them out.
Meanwhile, Radha stood outside, engrossed in a book titled "How to Die Easily." "Get yourself together and think about all the bad stuff you've done in your life. That will help you die easily. What sense does it even make?" she muttered, her back against Maulana's car.
As officers shouted, "They are running, Mam!" Radha tossed the book into the car and jumped into her black 1969 Chevrolet. "Hurry up! Call for backup! We have to go after them, now!"
With the other cars in pursuit, Maulana was safely ensconced in Mr. V's giant hand as they navigated through houses and people on the road. "Let's see, V, if bullets really affect you in this form," Maulana said, his voice filled with curiosity.
Radha floored it, speeding past traffic signs, her eyes fixed on the road ahead.
