Chapter Sixty-three [ Thunderclaps, lightning, and downpours]

For almost seven hours, the three founders have prayed and waited for God's revelation. Where the sun is setting, the sun will become obscured by the clouds. The palm and coconut branches sway in the cold winds as they bid the day's experiences goodnight and welcome the shadows of faint light that will soon cover the night's darkness and provide opportunities for everyone to rest and regain vigor for the days ahead.

“How long, Brother Santiago, must our Founders pray in the inner room?”

Mr. Tan asks as some of them start to act restless and want to go home because their families are waiting for them at night and may already be concerned.

“We were just informed by family members that our mission would only require a one-day trip because our intention was only to view the farms and think about the benefits they could provide for our recipients, not to hold an extended prayer meeting there.”
