Chapter one hundred-four [ The marine forces being repelled]

Inside the warmer apparatus provided in the hospital, Rhoda’s eyes slowly open wide as the Christian missionary team continues to serenade God with their battle hymns against sea water powers.

They accompany her with a forceful rendition of another war song, sounding like they are shouting, accompanied by a flurry of trumpet and cymbal noises. They lock the door so as not to wake other hospital patients.

“When the battle is near and the night is long,

I won’t be shaking, I will stand strong,

For my fight is not with flesh and blood,

But against the power of this cruel world.

Crown with the belt of truth wrapped around my waist,

I stand firm, I walk by faith,

Breastplate of righteousness guards my heart,

And the gospel of peace, I shod my feet.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might,

I put on the Armor of God.

His word will be my spirit sword in truth

I’ll stand in faith
