Morning came, and the sun shone through the window of the inn room, shining on Henrietta’s tear-stained eyes.
With a frown, she opened her eyes and looked at Seth next to her. Her heart was still aching after everything that happened last night.
“When did you find out?” asked Henrietta, moving her head to Seth’s chest.
“When I entered your memories that day in the throne room… I’m sorry for not telling you.”
Henrietta nodded and said: “I understand. That’s why that scene was so fresh in my mind despite me being nothing but a little girl….”
“I’m sorry, Henri….”
Henrietta nodded again and moved her hand under Seth’s shirt. “Can we? I want something to distract my mind for now.”
Seth caressed her face as he nodded: “Everything for you.”
Henrietta nodded and brought her trembling lips to Seth’s, slowly moving her body above him while her hands started to cut his shirt using destruction energy slowly.
