Chapter : 12

I woke up early in the morning and swiftly finished my daily morning exercise and completed my sword training.

I went towards the bathroom took a bath and went towards the diner hall, that's where all of today's controversy started.

I went to the diner and sat for my breakfast, that's when my mind once again tinged me, 'this place is dangerous.'

The moment I felt that I quickly jumped out of my chair and looked around my room cautiously.

"Young master is everything alright," Jenny asked me.

'She couldn't notice that ominous feeling' I thought.

"Jenny, did you feel some kind of a dangerous feeling right now?" I asked.

"No, I did not; young master, is everything alright?" she asked.

'Did she not notice anything, or is she just acting dumb hmm' I thought.

"It's nothing Jenny," I said.

I quickly finished my food and wrote down this incident in my diary.

I also wrote down yesterday's events on a separate page,

'Hmm is this ominous feeling related to the other incident where my father had to rush out?

Hmm, what are they targeting?' I thought.

I quickly went downstairs to meet my mom and that's when my vision blackened, everything around me was completely pitch dark.

That's when I heard a deep voice, from the direction of the voice there was a small mist, "HA HA HA HA HA....., found you brat, found you" the voice said in a very disgustingly strange way.

An arrow quickly pierced through my torso and the impact made me crash into the wall behind me, severely hurting my elbow.

I could not feel the pain, as I was struck with fear, a very great amount of fear.

My hands were trembling, and my brain would usually warn me during some dangerous events but this time, it was too fast I did not have time to react.

This guy was here to scare me and it seems to work,

I wanted to utter something but I could not, my words were stuck. Suddenly I saw a huge hand appearing from the dark, it glowed very strangely and I heard the same laughter again, I wanted to move, shout anything, everything was ineffective

'Weak, too weak' I thought as I clenched my fist and grit my teeth.

"Don't you dare try to interfere with my work or else, this little thing is nothing" the voice spoke.

"Young master" I heard a feeble voice, "YOUNG MASTER" this time the shout was very loud, I quickly opened my eyes and gaped, I could feel my fingers and shouted,

"Catch that bastard".

"Young master, it is alright you were having a nightmare, it's over now" I heard Jenny's voice.

I quickly felt someone embrace me and turned to look at my mom "It's alright Royii, mother is here" she said.

I quickly calmed down and started to analyze the situation.

There was no sight of the arrow wound, but I was sweating profusely.

I first checked whether I had wet myself, and sighed happily after I got to know I didn't.

My mother talked with me for some more time, before she sat up from my bed, 'Was this a bad nightmare' I thought, but I got the answer pretty fast.

My mother was fuming, I had never seen my mother this angry, and although her expression remained to calm her eyes had wrath, that's when I learned that this nightmare was not as simple as it seems.

"Jenny, come on we have to talk about some issues with the new maid recruits, " she said.

"Royii if you need anything call me ok, don't disturb Jenny you can directly call me honey, now mother has some work, I'll be leaving," she said.

I knew something was wrong and my mom is mostly going to order Jenny to look into it.

'But if this is not a simple nightmare and if we assume that this was set up by someone, that means that guy can control dreams in such a way that he can make it believable.'

This thought gave me goosebumps all over.

I'm weak, far too weak. If I can't defend myself against mental attacks then how can I protect myself, protect my family? I grit my teeth very hard.

My first thought and doubt only went towards Jon, my Butler.

'Hmm, no still don't have any proof' I thought.

'Don't interfere with my work the voice in my dream said. What did I do, think Roy think, where hmm,'.

That's when a thought struck me, me investigating everyone in the mansion, this would mean that there might be a teammate along with Jon if he is the culprit, or it might not be Jon but someone else, and the last option is Jon.

I had 3 options with me, and all of them seemed equally important.

I don't know Jon's let alone my maid Jenny's abilities.

It's just been 5 years since my birth in this place, 5 years and already there's a very big problem that lies within our feet and I mean it.

If me waking up doing exercise all could be done by one single illusion, in a believable manner that means the guy who is most probably hiding in the mansion could have killed me long ago.

This guy has warned me.

The fact that I even wrote my diary in the nightmare or illusion or whatever, he seems to be observing me.

'This is bad' I thought.

I needed to work silently, laying low, without acting suspiciously.

I had to bring out this bastard's identity.

SCENE CHANGE..-

Inside a big room which was covered by thick metal walls on all sides, 2 people were standing.

One was Anna Ishtart, the other was the maid Jenny.

"Jenny, a big fat mole is hiding in our premises, although Zenith had it under control, after he went on the mission that bastard is acting up, and went as far as to harm my baby, you do know that I left all my commanding rights to Zenith, and I don't want to take it back, find that guy, I didn't want the matter to come to my hand but this is far off the limit" she spoke with extreme anger.

"I understand my lady," she spoke, Jenny didn't dare to speak back anything unnecessary or the information she currently had, she knew this was not the right time.

She had to find the mole.
