"What are you whispering there?" Lukas' question made her annoyed and she looked at him with a smirk. 


"Stop bothering people, Lukas, I am busy and I don't have time to play with you," she said and she breathed out. If she's honest about her feelings, she just didn't like looking at Lukas with his demeanor and look of appeal. 


He's like a walking bomb, full of petals and pearls. Even her maid disappears as soon as he enters the room. He looks more like a piece of furniture than a person, beside his annoyingly giving her a regretful stare. 


"What kind of an escort leaves their master behind?" he said and frowned. Since then, it went silent, Valerie couldn't respond as she's not in the mood, yet for Lukas, it felt like it's the same.
