25 – Not Something He Can Enjoy

While Ciara, Bonnie, and Liz worked together to put the turrets on our roof, I stood there staring at the sky.

When playing Project Axiom, I never hesitated to sacrifice other humans. But here, it is entirely different. Those people really do have lives.

It might be easier to kill the robots since they are so different from me. I'm also sure I won't care if the one I kill is a bad person. But they are innocent….

I continued to justify the deaths of those who were trapped yesterday. But I can't stop thinking about them.

"Ciara, stay where you are, don't move no matter what."

I can hear Bonnie's voice.

"What's wrong, Bonnie?" I asked without looking at the tiny girl who came up to me. "Huh?"

Bonnie shoved my body into Ciara's ass, triggering the super soldier to shriek. "Kyaa!"

"Nope, nope." Bonnie still shoved me to the bottom of the black-haired girl. "This is for your master, Ciara. He needed something to cheer him up. Since yesterday, he just kept quiet."

"This is pointless, Bonnie." My voice is muffled, and all I can see is darkness. "I am made of metal and have no nerves. I can't enjoy this."

"Ah, you're right." Bonnie pulled me, and I could see Ciara looking away with a blush. "How about this? Liz, don't move."

This time Bonnie shoved me into the mechanic's chest.

"Don't you understand what I'm saying?" I sighed. "I can't feel any of this."

And that makes me pretty sad. As a man, I certainly really like moments like this. Unfortunately, now I'm not human.

"Then imagine how soft and supple Liz's assets are." Bonnie hissed. "Well, even though these are not real and only made of silicone."

"He's never felt anything like this before. How can he feel it?" Liz argued.

I break free. As the mechanic said, imagining such a thing was not easy.

"I heard they've developed an artificial human body that can be injected with robot consciousness," Liz explained. "I don't know if that's true or not, and I don't know who did the research."

Please, don't get my hopes high.

"I really feel you need entertainment, Axel." Bonnie continued. "You really are like a human. So, you also feel stressed, right? What's more, you manage us every day without rest."

Ciara lined up the tiny girl. She looked concerned. "Is that right, sir?"

"Maybe you want to see a beautiful view, Axel?" Bonnie smiled. But I can detect something different than usual. She looked like she was hiding something.

"You're the one who wants to have an adventure, right?" I made a guess.

The tiny girl tilted her head, stuck out her tongue, put her hand to her temple, and closed one eye. With an overly cute voice, she answered me. "Ehe."

No. Please stop it. You look terrible in that pose, Bonnie.

And you recently went on a trip with me, right? Well, that can't really be called fun, though.

"You are easier going than my previous leader." she chuckled. "So, I thought of asking you again. In the west, there is an oasis, but it's about one day's distance even if using a vehicle."

"Ah, the oasis, huh?" I've heard of that place, though it has yet to be implemented in Project Axiom. The game will include that feature, but the developer has disappeared. "It's a place filled with various plants, right? You want to see the scenery there?"

"And fresh fruit there!" Bonnie snapped her fingers and looked at Ciara. "I'm sure Ciara would be happy with a more varied food."

The super soldier replied. "Honestly, I don't really care about food….."

"Shut up. You need to eat a lot of vitamins to maintain the shape of your breasts and butt." Bonnie interrupted.

I'm pretty sure that's not a fact.

"Well, I heard that if you stay there too long, many plant monsters will attack you." I sighed. "That's why nobody lives there."

"Then, don't stay in that place too long." Bonnie intertwined her fingers, looking at me with the face of a child about to cry. "Please, Axel Onii-chan."

Why are you acting like a little sister, bitch?

"I'm just a little away from finishing the tweak of Bonnie's E.E.S.," Liz added. "The strength and speed will increase slightly. And when the booster is ready, the speed will increase many times. Besides that, I guarantee that her rifle will not be jammed."

"You heard that." Bonnie brought her face closer to mine. "My E.E.S will be stronger, so we can sweep away any enemies that get in our way. I will go the extra mile to help finish whatever is being built here."

Damn, how can I resist that puppy-like expression? What's more, I have no reason to refuse her.

"Okay." I sighed again. "But on the way, we will also look for instant concrete."

The tiny girl jumped for joy. "Yay! I've never been there, but I've heard of its beauty! Finally, I got sick of these depressing views!"
