"AND WHERE IS THAT BOYFRIEND OF YOURS?" He asked bitterly, as annoyed as I wanted him to be.
"Boyfriend?" A deep familiar voice spoke from the right corner, someone I definitely didn't want to meet right now. Especially when I was about to use him for this. "Are you talking about me?" In a second he was on my side, thanks to his ridiculously long legs, with a big hand on my waist.
I avoided his eyes, and kept them on Christopher. In my best efforts to not let him know how his touch affects me. "Who is this?" The blonde hissed.
"This, De Villiers, is my boyfriend. Choi Jung-won," who was not supposed to be here. How in the actual hell did he find me? Jesus Christ. This will make it impossible to avoid his ass now. And wasn't he who told me to stay away?
He frowned, "I think I've heard that name before."
"You might have. He's the CEO of CMM!"
Christopher scoffed, "It's a woman."
"My sister is managing the Korean branches. I took over months ago as the new CEO. Not that it concerns the likes of you, De Villiers. So, what's your relationship?"
As he looked from him to me, I clicked my tongue. "I kissed him once in highschool. He says we dated back there, but I've never dated anyone like him in my life." He's not my type.
"You didn't date Rhys Choi either," he hissed and I felt my face hot when Choi turned to me.
"Believe whatever you want to, De Villiers," it was all I said to him.
He got angrier, I could tell. "We loved each other, Elizabeth. I know we did. We loved one another deeply. I remembered."
I chuckled bitterly, "Mate, I only loved one person, and that was certainly not you. I respect that you fancied me, but even that has limits. With all due respect, you are not, and never was, my type."
But he didn't seem to believe me. "That what is it?"
"East-Asians, tall, black hair," I pointed to Choi. "He is the incarnation of my type, if you may. So, don't think too much about. I was never into blondes. And now that I remember, I kissed you because my bully loved you. You remember Marie-Estella? Well, I kissed you to get on her nerves, and it worked. As many say, I'm a heartless bitch. And," I held Choi's hand, "I'm not available."
"I'll make you love me," he hissed before storming out of the store.
When he was nowhere to be seen, I tried to push Choi Jung-won away from me, but he didn't move. "He's gone. No need to act anymore, asshole." But he was adamant. "Hands off."
"We have to talk!"
I clenched my jaw, and when I was held his hand that was on my waist to push it away, Isabella came back with all the bottles. She looked surprised to see the giant hot guy with me, but only grinned. "Here they are, Miss Freya. The 12 bottles you asked me. 2 of each."
Giving up in pushing him, I took my black card from my wallet and handed it to her, "Thank you, Isabella."
"Are you her boyfriend, sir?"
"Yes," the asshole said and I swallowed a curse.
"You look amazing together," she winked and out the card on the machine, then she gave it back to me and I put it back on my wallet.
When I was about to take the box, he finally took his hand off my waist and carried for me, catching me by real surprised. Seems like he has a gentleman side to him.
"Come again when you're in the city, Miss Freya!"
"I will," I winked at her, and left, letting him carry all the weight. At least he's useful like this. Though it seems like a feather-weight by how unbothered he is looking. Annoying.
As we left to the narrow street, Hurt You by The Weeknd was playing on the speakers. But instead of following me and putting it on my Harley, he turned around and put it on the back of a black bullet-proof Cadillac Escalade. And when I tried to find my motorbike's keys, they weren't on my pocket anymore.
"Looking for these?" The asshole waved them with a grin and threw them to a man all in black that was behind him. "Hector, take the Harley to my place. I'll be taking her with me in the Escalade."
"No. You won't!" I gasped. "I'm not going with you, you psychopath!"
"You are the psycho here, darling. But shall I call De Villiers back and tell him the truth?" Devil.
Clenching my teeth, I glared at him. "Evil spirit."
Grinning sensually, he came closer, towering me like a Titan, a deity, a Na'vi, since the boot I'm using has no heels, and it heightens our ridiculous difference in height. "Come with me!"
"I'm not going back to the villa yet. So, if you plan to take me there, tell me first-hand." Avoiding his gaze, I pushed him away and entered the passenger seat of his car.
After a second, he came in with all the grace in the world and the knowledge that we were alone inside this big car that is bulletproof and blocks all the view from the outside, made me all too conscious. Enough for me to stare straight at the path, and not at him. Knowing that if I did, I could lose my control again. "I'm not going there either!"
"How did you find me?" I muttered.
He turned the car on, and by the side of my eyes I noticed that he was left-hand by how he was driving. Another annoying similarity between him and Rhys, to torment me. Seems like I have a definitive type. "Your grandmother Scarlett gave me your number, so, as soon as you turned the airplane mode off, I was able to use an app to track your location through your number. I happen to be in Mayfair when that happened."
Asshole. "What did you do that for?"
"After you left, my family and your grandparents all came to me, to yell about me having said that stuff to you. And all your grandparents made me promise I would find you," oh? "I keep my promises."
"If you say so," I mumbled crossing my arms.
"There. I answered two of your questions. Now, answer mine." He stopped the car in front of a bookstore I used to visit when I was still studying in Decaelis Academy, but kept the door locked.
His attention burned my skin, and I did my best not to look at him. "Ask it."
"Why did you lie to De Villiers? Tell me in detail!"
Devilish man. Ugh, why did he had to know how to make questions I won't be able to avoid? "And I thought you didn't want to speak with me anymore," sighing, I closed my eyes, leaning my head on the seat. "De Villiers is an ass. We had a few classes together and I was always annoyed by his mere existence. He has a hard crush on me for some weird sadistic reason, and Marie was in love with him."
"You kissed him." That wasn't a question.
