Chapter 7

Jiok could barely stand on his feet, his body battered and bruised from the intense battle he just endured with himself. He looked around, trying to get his bearings and figure out where he was.

It took him a few moments to realize that he was still in the game, but the setting had changed. He was no longer in the black void, but instead, he found himself in what looked like a grand hall.

The walls were adorned with intricate carvings and murals that depicted scenes of battles and conquests. There were no doors or windows, and the only way out was through the massive double doors at the far end of the hall.

Jiok took a few steps forward, wincing at the pain in his body. He had no idea what to expect in this final trial, but he knew he had to keep going.

As he walked further into the hall, he noticed a group of people huddled together in the corner. They looked scared and confused, just like he was.

Jiok approached them and asked, "Do any of you know what's going on?"

One of the people, a woman, replied, "We don't know. We were suddenly transported here after completing our own trials."

Jiok nodded, understanding their confusion. He had experienced the same thing before.

Just then, the massive double doors at the far end of the hall slowly began to creak open. Jiok could feel his heart racing as he waited to see what would come through them.

To his surprise, a single figure stepped into the hall. It was a woman, dressed in a flowing white gown. Her hair was long and dark, cascading down her back in loose waves.

She approached the group, her eyes fixed on Jiok. "Welcome, Jiok," she said in a soft voice. "You have done well to make it this far."

Jiok tensed up, not knowing how to react. "Who are you?" he asked cautiously.

The woman smiled. "I am the game master. I oversee everything that happens in this world."

Jiok felt a chill run down his spine. The game master had the power to control everything in the game. She was the ultimate authority.

"What do you want from me?" he asked, his voice trembling.

The game master gestured towards the double doors. "You have one final trial to complete. Beyond those doors lies your ultimate challenge."

Jiok took a deep breath, steeling himself for whatever lay ahead. He turned to the group of people and said, "I don't know what's waiting for me beyond those doors, but I have to face it. If any of you want to come with me, I won't stop you."

The group exchanged nervous glances but ultimately decided to follow Jiok. Together, they approached the double doors and pushed them open.

Beyond the doors was a vast open plain, stretching out as far as the eye could see. In the distance, Jiok could make out a massive structure, unlike anything he had ever seen before.

"That's your destination," the game master said, pointing towards the structure. "You must reach it to complete the game."

Jiok nodded, his determination renewed. He set off towards the structure, with the group of people following close behind.

As they made their way across the open plain, Jiok couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. He couldn't see any enemies or obstacles, but he knew that the game master wouldn't make it that easy.

Sure enough, as they drew closer to the structure, a horde of monsters appeared, charging towards them.

Jiok and the group quickly formed a defensive line, ready to take on the monsters. They fought with all their might, slashing and hacking at the creatures with their weapons. Jiok took the lead, his movements swift and precise as he took out several of the monsters with ease. However, more and more of the creatures kept pouring in, overwhelming the group.
