Let's talk about the Sacramento Kings, and they're the worst team in the league, not in terms of the roster but in terms of management. This season, they broke the sad record of the current NBA playoff-long drought fold at 13 seasons qualifying in 2006. After a 39-43 record the previous season, Wharton knows he's under pressure.

But it is not helped because just after the summer league, a piece of information makes the whole organization chart panic. Like Wharton was accused of sexual assault by a former host. The facts date back to 2014. According to her, the assault occurred in a hotel in Santa Monica, California, while he was an assistant in Golden State.

Luke denied the charges; he acknowledged their meeting at the hotel but wrote in court records that "their meeting was concise, entirely pleasant, and consensual." The Kings and NBA have launched a joint investigation into his claims against Wharton. In August, investigators concluded that there was "insufficient basis to substantiate" the accusations.

The atmosphere in the dressing room at the resumption was gloomy. There is a mentality gap between some players in the squad, some were serious in training, and others were lax.

Hector, from the point of view of the staff, is a breath of fresh air. His seriousness and work ethic are just remarkable. Even his teammates are impressed, but that's it.

The Kings had a 3-2 record in the preseason, but now the serious stuff will begin.

2019-20 Sacramento Kings roster;

Guards: No.26 Bazemore, No.8 Bogdanovic, No.3 Ferrell, No.5 Fox, No.24 Hield.

Forwards: No.13 Brewer, No.10 James, No.35 Bagley, No.40 Barnes, No.88 Bjelica, No.33 Parker.

Only James and Hector had a place on the main roster among those who played in the summer league. Guy got a two-way contract. He can play with the Stockton Kings affiliate team in the G League and, if possible, play a few games in the NBA. Jeffries is also under a two-way contract. They can be considered the 16th and 17th players.

The NBA comprises 30 teams divided into two conferences: East and West. The two meetings consist of 15 groups organized into three divisions of five teams. To the east, the Atlantic, Central, and Southeastern divisions are composed as follows:

Atlantic: Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors.

Central: Chicago Bulls, Cleveland, Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks.

Southeast: Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards.

In the west, the Northwest, Pacific, and Southwest divisions are composed as follows:

Northwest: Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers, and Utah Jazz.

Southwest: Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, San Antonio Spurs.

Pacific: Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings.

Generally, each team plays 82 games during the season: 41 home and 41 away. The opponents are faced depending on the division in which the unit is located. Each team must play four games against teams in its division (16 games), three or four matches against each team from other divisions of the same conference (36 games), and two against each section from the other conference (30 games).

Along with the National Hockey League, the NBA is the only American professional league where all teams meet at least once a season. But this season will not be typical.

On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, the season began with the defending champions' game, this time the Toronto Raptors, as is tradition. The Raptors win 122-130 over the Pelicans.

The next day the Sacramento Kings started their season. Their very long season…
