Belinda is a basketball genius.

She is one of those who have the "innate talent" for the orange ball. She didn't play it at first but got into it after meeting Hector.

At 9, she joined a basketball club in the suburbs of Mexico. She fell in love with this guy, always practicing shooting in and out of the schoolyard. Their common passions bring them together to the point of becoming a couple.

It was quick to crush the competition once the rules were learned. Hector himself could not believe it. He was shocked by the talent of this little brunette who always looked at him.

She had to be upgraded because she was too strong for her age category. And even outclassed, it still dominates as much. But like Hector, after touring Venezuela, she aims for the WNBA's top level.

She is the captain of the Venezuelan junior team like Hector, but the difference is that her talent is recognized internationally.

She refused all the teacher contracts in the country and even those in Europe to go to the NCAA directly. She decided to go to Stanford because she wanted to be close to Hector.

Belinda is a point guard. She has an average height and weight according to the standards of the position, but what separates her from the rest is her wingspan, like Hector.

His style of play is directly inspired by his favorite player: Rajon Rondo. In the era of point guards, finding a playmaker who goes first and Belinda is in this register is difficult. She is a master of fake moves. No one simulates defense better than she does.

And her long arms make her a plague for opponents like Rondo.

She has a sixth sense for getting interceptions and disrupting the attack flow. He uses his long arms and big hands to sneak in and deflect the ball toward a teammate.

The common misconception about Rajon Rondo is that he can't score. The fact is that he can. Although he prefers to be passive, when Rondo wants to score, he does it as a group.

And that makes the other team helpless.

What's most impressive about Rondo's ability to score is that he doesn't depend on athletics. While the newborn point guard must be able to dunk and hit all three quintessential, Rondo gets by with his speed and cunning. It is also excellent at predicting a defender's movements and reactions, making defending it impossible.

Belinda knows how to shoot, but it is not her primary weapon. Letting Belinda shoot a three-pointer is just out of the question.

Tara VanDerveer has been Stanford's head coach since 1985. She was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002 for her achievements.

Belinda found his place in a well-oiled squad and quickly took the starter position. Before the shutdown, she was the driving force behind her team, with an average of 10.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.

They did not leave the top 10 of the power ranking from AP Poll and had a record of 25 wins and 5 losses. They were even ranked #1 between weeks 5 and 7 and then in week 11, but they did not see this first place again. Finally will be ranked 6th at the PAC-12 Women's Tournament.

She returned to Sacramento with great news for Hector.
