Darling

Ye Qing Luo took her around the house, hoping that she would remember something. However, Ye Qing Xin could not remember anything at all.

The two of them were walking around the second floor when Ye Qing Xin saw the door in front of them was gapped open. Suddenly, a white and fluffy fur ball walked out elegantly.

The white cat stopped for a few seconds to watch them. Her blue eyes were staring straight into Ye Qing Xin's Then, she walked again and started to rub her head on Ye Qing Xin's legs.

"Meow~" Her voice was too sweet and melodious.

This was the first time that Ye Qing Xin had seen the cat and she had immediately fallen in love with it.

In the past, Ye Sen had never allowed her to keep a pet as he was allergic to fur. Seeing that the cat had suddenly appeared in front of her excited her.

Slowly, Ye Qing Xin began to pick up the cat and started to tease her. She then turned to her little sister and saw the expectant look in her eyes.

Ye Qing Xin's intuition told her that she should know this cat.

"This cat..."

"Sister, don't you remember?" Ye Qing Luo asked. She watched as her elder sister shook her head and could not mask her disappointment. "Sister this is your cat, Darling."

"Darling?"

The cat lifted her head when she heard her owner call her name. "Meow~" Then, moved closer to kiss Ye Qing Xin on the cheek.

"Oh! What an adorable cat!" Her heart warmed at the cat's affectionate act.

Ye Qing Luo watched as her sister continued to tease the cat with a faint smile on her face. She knew that her sister might not remember anything at this time, but she was positive that her sister would remember everything slowly.

Carrying Darling in her arms, the two of them walked over to Ye Qing Xin's room.

They entered the room together and Ye Qing Xin started to look around. It felt that the room's layout was similar to the one she had previously. Just that, the scheme color was a little different.

In the past, her room was filled with dark-colored furniture and decorations. However, this time everything was in a lighter tone. It made her room seem larger.

There was a pot of Pothos on the vanity table as well as the bedside table.

The bedsheet looked clean as it was recently changed.

As she walked to the window, Ye Qing Xin could see the garden. There were a few fruit trees, flowers as well as a large man-made water fountain.

Ye Qing Luo watched as her sister walked around the place familiarly with her misty eyes. She wanted to ask if her sister had remembered something, but was afraid to be disappointed.

As Ye Qing Xin walked closer to the bed, Darling jumped out of her embrace and lay down on the mattress. Then, she started to lick her fluffy fur.

Ye Qing Xin sat down on the mattress slowly before turning to look at her sister again. "You... Ye Qing Luo."

"Sister, you like to call me Xiao Luo previously." Ye Qing Luo interjected. Hearing her sister address her by her full name hurt her heart too much.

Ye Qing Xin cleared her throat before she began again. "Right. Xiao Luo." She could see her little sister's eyes lit up. "I have a few questions to ask you."

"Sister, you can ask me anything." Ye Qing Luo sat down in the empty space beside her.

"Our family is rich?"

Ye Qing Luo nodded. "Mmm... Our family is definitely not bad. We have been in Y City for years. Our Granddad started up a company specialized in the steel industry when he was younger." Ye Qing Xin did not have to ask more and her little sister excitedly told her everything about their family and how they were wealthy.

Her grandfather started up a company when he was younger and now, the company had flourish into several industries.

Their family might not be the wealthiest, but they were considered one of the top influential families in Y City.

From the sound of it, it seemed that her family was wealthier than the Song family in the past.

Of course, Ye Qing Xin was suspecting that her sister had toned down a little bit while talking about their family's wealth.

"Then... What is it that I do?" Ye Qing Xin asked.

Her little sister had mentioned their father and elder brother a few times and what were their roles in the family's business. But she had not mentioned anything about herself.

It couldn't be that she was the type that was pampered by her family members to the point that she did not have to do anything other than rely on the family's money, right?

Ye Qing Xin was not happy with this thought, especially after she had worked so hard previously.

Now that she got a second chance in life, Ye Qing Xin planned to live life the way she wanted to. Of course, she hoped that the 'force' would not make her do terrible things again.

So far, the 'force' had not appeared and made her do things that she did not want to.

This gave her the feeling that she might be able to live freely this time around.

"Sister, you are the most amazing one," Ye Qing Luo smiled brightly. "After graduating from college, you decided to start your own company. Sister, you are the CEO of your own company."

Ye Qing Xin stared at her sister with a dazed look in her eyes.

Ye Qing Xin was about to ask her sister a lot more questions when someone knocked on the door. With her little sister's permission, an elder man walked into the room.

Ye Qing Xin recalled that this man was called Butler Lu.

The butler greeted them both before speaking, "Eldest Miss, Young Miss, Madam requested your presence in the living room."

"What's going on?" Ye Qing Luo asked.

Butler Lu shifted his gaze to Ye Qing Xin. "Young Master Jin is here to see the eldest miss."
