I am doomed

"It's all for today students. Let's continue with the topic for the next class and don't forget to finish your homework" Drake spoke to the class flashing his charming smile as he picked up the books and turn to leave.

Just like Lucian, even Drake was admired by his female student. Orchids happen to have very handsome professors, which was also one of the reasons why most of the female students die to get in there. They didn't mind paying donation fees since most of them belong to wealthy families.

Drake walked out of the class staring at the empty seat near Ariana and heaved out a sigh.

Julianna didn't seem to show up for the class and he wondered how was he going to talk with her to make her spill the names of the culprit.

Pushing his spec up on the bridge of his nose, Drake walked through the corridor, thinking about the girl Julianna.

Lucian wanted him to interact with her to find the students who bullied her, but how would he do that when she kept skipping the class.

"I need to tell Lucian to find another person to interrogate the girl," he mumbled to himself and kept walking when his eyes fell on something and he stopped walking.

A deep frown marred his face and he slowly approached the person trying to hide badly behind the wall next to the stairs.

" I think you should take a step down more if you don't want anyone to notice you, Miss James"

Julianna who had reached late for the lecture didn't dare to barge into the class like the other day knowing it was her mistake that she woke up late in the morning.

Last night after Silveira dragged Remy out of her room, she finally breathe a sigh of relief. But then she wondered what had gotten into her evil stepmother's mind that she barged into her room and stopped Remy from hurting.

Not that she was thankful because she knew Silveira had her motives. Both mother and daughter pairs were kind of weird and their actions sometimes were unfathomable.

Ignoring their weirdness, she decided to have her dinner in her room and took the medicine that the doctors prescribed her. But she didn't know, after having them, she would end up sleeping like a log.

Snapping out her thoughts Julianna quickly straightened up when she heard the voice behind her and suddenly she felt like crying.

Her plan of secretly sneaking from getting caught by her professor failed as she was unsuccessful in hiding herself from his gawk-like eyes.

Drake was like this happy-go-lucky guy who always kept smiling no matter what, but only a few knew behind that happy face hide a spy who had his eyes everywhere.

"Hehe.. professor Drake, what are you doing here?"

'Stupid'

Drake arched his brow as he watched the girl turn to face him with an awkward smile but instead of getting upset with her, he admired her braveness.

She was caught red-handed and instead of giving him an explanation, she was questioning him instead. 'Don't anyone here is scared of me' Drake couldn't help but think how no one took him seriously.

"Don't you think it should be me who should ask you instead?" Drake asked as his lips twitched.

Juliana who sensed the annoyance in his tone gulped nervously. She knew she had messed up once again by getting caught by the person whom she was trying to hide from and now she didn't know how she would define her action.

Drake looked at the girl for some second before he opened his mouth and said, "Into my cabin Miss James, you need to explain" with that he turned and walked away leaving Julianna completely in shock.

"I am doomed" with a crying face, Julianna tucked her backpack and silently followed the tall man to his cabin.

Inside the classroom, Ariana turned to look at her side and wondered why Julianna didn't show up for the class but then she remember how badly her leg got sprained that she wasn't able to walk by herself.

"It's better if she rests" mumbling to herself, she turned and pulled out the books for the next class when suddenly someone sat next to her.

"Hi.." Griffin took the chance to share the seat with Ariana before the professor enters and flashed a smile the second he watched her surprise.

"Hi..." Ariana was shocked by his presence looked around as she caught a few eyes on them and composed herself.

"Hi" replying she turned and took out the textbooks before she adjusted herself on the seat by putting her backpack in between them.

Griffin noticed that Ariana was sitting alone as Julianna didn't show up for the class. He thought it would be a good opportunity to interact with her but his smile dropped when she gave him that boring look.

She clearly showed him that she wasn't happy with him sitting next to her and to make it look more convincing, she quickly put her backpack between them.

Ariana had been too brave to show her displeasure but he wasn't going to give up. He would befriend her and make her his girlfriend. With that thought, he dropped his disappointment and kept smiling.

"Why are you sitting alone," he asked trying to start a conversation with her.

"I don't think I am alone now, you are sitting next to me" Ariana answered promptly without paying a glance at him.

Griffin found her behavior towards him a little defensive and he kind of admired it. She was trying to act hard to get and that made him want to pursue her more.

Ariana was the very first girl who didn't get smitten by his charm and that kind of left him surprised but what made him more inclined toward her was her upfront nature.

Yesterday when she took a stand for herself in front of Lucian, something inside him told him to go for her.

Griffin had his eyes to the side as he admired the beauty in front of him, but he failed to notice two pairs of eyes glaring at them.

Remy who was sitting in the last row watched the two interact. She could see how badly Griffin was trying to grab her attention and then there was Lucian who just entered the class and the first thing he saw was his mate being admired by the boy sitting next to her.
