Chapter 16

Have you ever thought about your destiny? What? In where? And with whom? You want it to be connected with.

"Are you coming?" Tobby said.

"Yes" I replied.

Wait let me start from the end of everything....

Two hours ago...

"Dad! This isn't right." Killian cried.

"Won't you will love that too" Mr. Smith said.

"I am giving you an asset in this town. Your very own place, unlike your brother. I have some hopes from you. I want you to handle my business son. As quickly as you graduate. I need you to be the future of this town. So I can pay attention on being a member of legislative of this district." He continued.

I laughed  after seeing that killian is paying attention to this shit. Killian hates all this political drama. But why he isn't saying anything.

"But isn't Ricky is going to be your sidekick." Killian asked.

Mr. Smith laughed so sarcastically on this and said .

"He's the golden egg of this family. You don't value the egg in money but it just sits at the corner counter alone and makes other human beings think how rich you are." Mr. Smith said.

Did he simply just compare Ricky to an egg?

"Idiot! What I supposed that he will go to college soon on scholarship. Which looks precise for the family and you are my real asset son whom I can trust. Who will be here with Me?" Mr . . . . Smith smirked.

"Fine dad but she is going to be mad. I think you could give her a few payments like  for rent apartment or something." Killian hesitated.

"Son, that's a job of a guardian. Why are you so concerned about an orphan poor girl a...?"

"DAD!!!"

"Ohm I see no longer just a lady. A mean fox attempting to"

"DAD that's enough."

It turned out it is enough for me too.

I DON'T GET MAD. I GET DISTANT.

I rushed to my room as quietly as I can and started packing my stuff. Mostly essentials. I hurried so I can leave without seeing anyone. I dont know where I will go but definitely no longer going to stay here .

I put on my school bag full of all  books I needed for this term. I put my toiletries and small stuff like photo frames, lens case, old glasses, and alternate of coins, my wallet, IDs and passport in my tote bag and eventually my suitcase filled with clothes and shoes.

I walk down quietly on stairs with my stuff. I couldn't hear anything. I went to look in the study room to check  ; it was empty, I saw some papers on the desk.

I read via them and signed when I noticed wordings like agreement, disowning, rights and property. I left my copies of keys to the house on the table alongside with the agreement papers.

It was cloudy and dark outside.

The streets were empty and quite. I took a taxi to the town hall to get a room on rent. It started pouring and memories of my parents twist of fate or me leaving my house twice got  rushing thru. I couldn't breathe. I told my driver  to stop the car. I don't even understand where I am right now it's  raining heavily. I ran towards the nearest tree with my baggage to not get wet. But the sky is crying along with me today. I sat there in the mud and cried. I don't recognize how long it's been however I can't stop crying.

"Tessa! What's going on" Ricky shouted.

"stop this shit will you. I hate you. I hate your family. " I cried.

Ricky gets off from his motorbike and got here closer. He started picking my stuff.

"STOP" I shouted.

"Stop please stop "I shouted again.

He put my things down. He came toward to hug me however something stopped him. I opened my eyes and looked up. It was tobby.

"Are you ok" tobby said.

"We will talk at home. Please tell me ..." Ricky said.

"Are you OK" tobby cut Ricky midsentence.

"I don't need you here. GO" I cried out to Ricky.

He took off. I collapsed on the floor.

"It hurts" I cried.

"Look at me and breathe" tobby said.

"Please make it stop. Please it hurts. It hurts a lot." I cried. I wailed. I weeped until I couldn't breathe.

Tobby picked me up. Hugged me tightly and kissed on my lips. The kiss broke my crying spell. I froze.

Tobby the bad boy just kissed me.

"You jerk, moron" I shouted and slapped him. Indeed I slapped bad boy of school. He didn't react and said

"Where are you going?"

"motel?" I replied.

He picked my suitcase and put on my tote bag.

I placed on my school bag and froze. Why is he here ? Why he is not teasing me? Why did he taste like cheesecake?

"Did you ate cheesecake?" I murmured.

"What! , Are you coming?" tobby asked.

"yes" I replied and started following him.
