Wecit ifwe try

From the cuffs placed on his now soundless organ, Xehnyier would cough out blood, it pouring down to stain the water that now stopped as Nicole would also experience the same phenomenon, collapsing on top of the rock she flew up upon.

Reminders be noted, this didn't make Nicole give out and stop, immediately releasing the technique of her ability right after overuse. Perhaps in her mind, the fear of losing consciousness was imminent for the conclusion that defeat and death weren't the way to end this journey (?) of hers without finding out what these people wanted.

"She's clever..." nodding at himself for that.

"...maybe I should've destroyed her arms for good measure..." grabbing the limb stuck to him as he plucked it out, the blood seemingly stopping upon the hole being revealed, his gaping wound.

Right so, the hand would jerk uncontrollably, attempting to wriggle out the same way Nicole did. Yet the maze was riddled with exits brought by more labyrinthine structures unseen and unperceived, pulverized into bits and slowly...

...into nothing.

"What?" upon asking for confirmation of what exactly Nicole just saw, maintaining her prone to get little bits of repose.

"So it's not just mazes and patterns that he controls? Or was his ability entirely different and works "similar" but not the "same" as mazes?" wiping the blood blocking her vision, before the space became a curtain for Grey to hold, unleashing such kickback that it sent him sailing towards the pillar of stone Nicole was standing on, crumbling apart as it collapses.

"Agressive's the right choice..." said Xehnyier, leaping across the rubble, only to find the pale doll in the air, floating.

"Considering that's just a one-off attack to get me at a lower stamina..." rapidly approaching her with a spiraling set of stones in his hand.

"...in a battle of pure attrition" similar to an invisible drill- yet ambiguous in shape and structure.

"I can win."

Nicole exclaimed with a visible grunt, her arms readying to fire several spears, only to have them eviscerated alongside the limb she just healed. Releasing the shards made a circling booth filled with registered pebbles "lethal", now twisting and turning from their shifting angles. Attempts to formulate a counter only had the man swipe his hand in a chopping motion from the front- dashing behind- all towards the jutted pipes she attempted to dopplegang'ed, sending pressure enough for her to be knocked back up into the thick clouds already parting away.

Up from the skies, the girl would touch the stump where her once un-shredded right arm was, slowly healing with [Accelerate] before chopping it again- throwing it far into the distance.

Northeast (61 degrees from North) before having her body oddly moved and pulled to said cardinal direction, watching Grey's gaze from below, pointing her finger downwards. Up top, she'd serve the largest serving she could have for the "Makeshift Crystal Spear" meal, letting gravity drop it down...

[Accelerate]

...but not letting him get away with a measly amount of damage.

Tremors and quakes were once again felt from the canyon, a wave of air washing away all forms of debris collected throughout the short scuffles, magnitudes only proportional to the ones who made them- catastrophic.

Calamity given birth.

"All citizens of America..." a blaring sound of a man- voice parched, almost audible of sweat. "I, the current President- Seno Pert- hereby declare a national order...."

Flying silhouette would be dispatched kilometers near the place of the massive mountain-shaped spear, humongous to consider the sizes of the vessels much to an ant. After which the consequential aftershocks released enough to make a regurgitating gurgle from the lands below and over to every soil, a warning not unheard of but not anticipated.

Towards the skies, racing from the very wind to create flames, Nicole remained at a constant pace heading to the unknown location, perhaps unknown to anyone else but the man jumping on "distances"- space itself- leaping on one note only to land at failure's grasp reaching her, though enough to toss a well-timed pebble, stopping the girl as she scrambled from being strangled by the reversal tugging against her body.

"Tch!"

Frustrated from her failure, she'd prepare to block Xenyier's incoming strike using her sole left hand, only for her to be grabbed and immobilized in place, having him shred them to pieces.

Displacing a spear to skewer Grey's knee towards his throat, she'd counter by twisting her legs and kicking him, being freed by knocking herself "out" the area of said maze, plummeting far across oceans in moments, and into a barren starting point- another desert.

But, before looking up for new ways to escape, a fist would be sent flying on her face, shoving Nicole's head straight to the grains and into the prehistoric megalake, causing yet another powerful wobble.

"As you know, our current country- specifically the state of Nevada- has befallen into unknown proportions."

Piecing bits and pieces of some fossil, sand, and water- solidifying to make a pseudo limb for her to rejuvenate from- slowly crawling as her ankle-breaker-subjected-legs were coated with sand, transitioning back from paraplegic into normal movement.

"The concept of time as we know it ceases to abide by the reasons we assume govern them."

Up top, as if choking his throat, stood Xehnyier- one whose teeth were gritting with hostility, anger fueling his veins from the way his clenched fist was bleeding.

"Kerfuffles of temporal activity were found just days before. And from the reports of NASA, multiple constellations had gone missing from the night sky- coincidentally right after said phenomenon occurred."

Spires of the same size would pierce from the ground and touch the skies, a series of them enough to house cities as a single white figure was in the center- an eye of the storm per se- a face of pure desperation to get back.

Jumping to avoid one gargantuan cloud shaper, he'd sprint on air and perform a stone skipping with said grains of sand- applying his ability to make them put innumerable segments onto the spears, causing lots of debris to fly out and nick Nicole's arm and cheek.

Clapping her hands in response, gigantic spears would be roped by sand and have them stab wherever the man was, swaying her fingers as she conducted weapons of mass destruction, commanding them to pile spears on top of them.

But on the verge of stopping was greeted by Xehnyier, once again expediting in and out of these megalopolis structures, kneeing her to the gut- now trapped in sand.

A full-moon kick was then met by her dune-esque arm, locking in a series of multiple blows, only to end with her propelling to yet a different location, having such brutality in the attack that Xehnyier recoiled from the intensity, breaking his right arm.

"Leaders all over the globe have also discussed the concerning disasters happening worldwide. With our esteemed intelligence even scrutinizing to figure out the root cause of all the events that had transpired in a short period."

Mauna Kea- an inactive volcano known for being "bigger" than even the infamous Everest.

A crater there stood, large enough for a massive lake of lava and magma to form- with Nicole swimming amongst them- lying subconsciously from the shock impact.

In her head, pictures of food- their smell and their taste- propagated through. As if inhaling something illusory, she'd move her hand- now riddled in such flame unmelting- twitching the fingers now trembling from the cracks.

"Why am I even here?"

Her blurry vision slowly witnessed the disaster, a cataclysmic eruption forced from Xehnyier, seeing massive spews of magma wash her by as a brimming silhouette descends from the skies. High temperatures somewhat give her a soothing feeling of care.

"Part of me knows it unconsciously, but another makes me oblivious to what that is..."

Waters not yet driven through, a submarine only capable of reaching the depths, lest it crushes beneath the pressure of responsibility. Only measured through the understanding of self and the very meaning of it as a whole, much to know every ingredient and not just dumping into one pot.

Somehow, a "fish" would call out.

...

Unheard, blurry.

Nicole...

Male.

Nicole...?

Calm and serene. Familiar.

Wanna go out to watch movies with me?

"Maybe I've already found my reason..."

Rushed, she'd jolt her body awake, narrowly dodging the igneous rocks with a roll. Grabbing the lava with her bare hands- part of her limb turning glass from the sand earlier- heaving them to be sent injuring the falling mazekeeper.

"Something of this severity shouldn't be taken lightly by anyone."

Grasping her palms with her fingers, "It's warm.." playing around with the magma on her hands- a reminder of that one dish- before looking at Xehnyier, walking on lava and circling her around.

"So, you can still fight, huh..." he said, breathing out and fixing the hair blocking his clear view. "You're so resilient..." dusting himself as the hole in his throat was covered by layers of fabric.

"Touché..." her eyes gazing at his, a long pause of a response.

...

"No matter where you are or where your location is."

Disappearing from each other's sight, the magma would be split apart and spread all across the waters of Hawaii. Their punches would be like fireworks, the accompanying eruption being its drummer to the beat elegantly portrayed by Nicole's strikes.

"Danger has never before become so apparent."

Blows would be parried by Xehnyier, though the usage of his ability made his counterstrikes all the more dull. Widened in vulnerability more, the maze that once was the hindrance has been...

"Obstructed? Since when was she starting to gain an advantage?

Going through, Nicole would make a chop with her palm, a lava-infused strike on the gut, kicking her feet to mix with the magma to lower his knee, making him crunch for the upcoming uppercut to the jaw.

"Was she never using Accelerate against me within the majority of the fight? That'd explain how she's able to retaliate with this much force!"

As explained through actions alone...

[Reversal Accelerate]

...the momentum built up from her arm traveling back and forth in time, made an endless- infinite- amount of force, cracking parts of her body as the blood would cover the sight from Xehnyier's momentarily malfunctioning measure of sight.

[Bottleneck]

Culminating to a force of her right arm disappearing, sacrificed to send him to kingdom come to who-knows-where, puking out from severe overuse and landing flat on the parted land, unconscious.

"And safety has not once been prioritized the most in the history of mankind."

Any cloud from the direction of the west found nothing to stay put on, with the dormant volcano- top to the very bottom- even the very water that was under, now completely wiped squeaky clean off the floor that is the map.

Statis that held the parted oceans lasted for a moment before the shock occurred, a deafening sound booming far indescribable from the earlier ones, as the gigantic earth plates holding the rice- people- would move ever so slightly, cutting the feed to the speech.

Only silence remains.
