"Baby girl, stay with your dad," Sewa said, holding her laundry basket as she prepared to leave.
"Where are you going?" the fifth prince inquired.
"To wash clothes. You can see," she replied coldly.
"We're all going together," he suggested.
"You don't need that; perhaps people will start rumors that will reach the palace," she cautioned, then left.
"Why is Mom annoyed again?" the baby girl asked.
"Your mom didn't want me. Will you help me?" he asked his daughter, who nodded. They followed Sewa to the stream. On their way, they came across Ifafunto.
"Huh... I'm jealous. What a perfect couple. The prince has kept my friend away from me," Ifafunto mused.
"When you return from the stream, we have something to talk about," Ifafunto said to Sewa.
"I hope all is well, and how is the baby mama of the crown prince?" Sewa asked. This question troubled the fifth prince.
"Oh, Crown Prince. Stop it. Crown prince is too decent to have a maid as a baby mama. He is not like that," she replied.
"A maid?" the fifth prince was surprised and realized the maid was the secret the crown prince revealed in the palace hall. Ifafunto excused herself.
"Papa, Mama always wants me to wear this," she said, bringing out a chain with a half heart. "She said you have it; it's your love." This chain, half for both the fifth prince and Sewa, was a reminder of their shared love before their separation. The prince was surprised, and when Sewa saw this, she was disappointed. The fifth prince held her.
"You still kept it. Do you know how much I treasure this? I have mine too. I'm very sorry. Let me prove how sorry I am to you," he said.
"Leave me. People are looking," Sewa said as she hurried away.
"My prince," his personal bodyguard appeared. "What's wrong?" he asked.
"Oh, brother, you can't escape your palace duty. The king will soon notice your missing, and your secret won't be ours anymore," the third princess said, extending her arms to carry her daughter. "Oh, my sweet girl."
