"The city is surrounded by zombies."

"We can't even escape."

"Luis Leon is a young Spanish guy I met two months ago in an expedition."

"Jaina Porter was a student at my university."

"she is an angry person who surely will kill you if you piss her off."

"Carson Red is an old man that used to be my neighbor."

"weird guy but he is good."

"And finally, Nicolas Petrovic a Serbian teenager."

"he is pretty annoying not gonna lie."

"he is a good guy though."

"We are all starving in this building and we can't escape because we are trapped in this room."

"outside this room is many zombies that are waiting for us."

"I'm Gerald, I used to be a university student."

"I wasn't that much of a bright student."

"I was the complete opposite of that."

"I had a brother named Jake."

"He was my young brother."

"he was annoying but I loved him."

"and I had a sister named Sarah."

"she is my older sister."

"I always admired her and loved her."

"she died while we were fighting a pack of zombies."

"she died so we can live."

"anyways, we have been low on food for a little while."

"We went to this building to find some food instead of that we got pinned in this room in the building by the zombies."

"We've been stuck here for 2 days and everyone is beginning to lose their minds here."

"Hey Gerald stops writing in that book of yours and start thinking of some fucking solution to get out of this fucking piece of shit of a room like we are doing," said Jaina. Gerald looks at her. "instead of thinking start doing."

"No shit smartass."

Jaina Picks up her shotgun and walks to the door. "hey what are you doing?" said Luis. "we are gonna starve here so I'm gonna open the door and kill the damn zombies"

"you are not thinking wisely"

"oh really? Then what do you suggest?"

"stop fighting," said Carson as he stood up. "and what are you gonna do grandpa," said Jaina mocking him. Gerald stood up. "guys stop fighting we have to get out of here."

"do you have an idea Gerald?" said Carson. Gerald thought for a moment before talking. "we will open the door and begin killing them. That's the only way out."

Jaina smiled. "finally, your dumbass gets it."

Gerald grabs his rifle and then looks at Nicolas. "hey Niko grab your pistol we are about to open the door and take them out."

Nicolas didn't respond. Gerald approaches Nicolas. "Listen I know you've gone through a lot but we have to keep going for their sake."

Nicolas raises his head. "just leave me here."

"come on Niko we can't leave you here-"

"why not? It's not like you care about me"

"we care about you all of us not only me. So come on we must move."

Nicolas thought for a second about all that is happening and what had already happened to him. He then stood up and took his gun. "Let's go."

Gerald smiles. "that's what I'm talking about."

Everyone got ready and loaded their guns. Jaina nods at Gerald. He opens the door and the zombies started swarming inside. They started shooting the zombies until no one was left. "we are done with them now let's get out of the building" said Luis. Everyone leaves the room and began going down the building. They reach the ground floor. "what are we gonna do now?" said Nicolas. "find a way to get out of this building without being chased by those sleepy heads" Jaina said. She looked for an exit. "there" she pointed at a small window. "alright let's go" said Gerald. They run to the window. "who will go first?" said Nicolas. "Jaina will go first then the rest of us," said Gerald. Jaina looks at Gerald. "why me first?"

"you are the smallest one out of us so it is more logical that you go first because you will easily get out of the window and then you can see if there are any walkers out there."

Jains smirks. "Sure, dumbass."

Jaina throws her shotgun out of the window and then she climbs out. "come on Niko you are next."

Nicolas climbs out. "now Luis."

Luis climbs out. "you go I will be right behind you," said Carson.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, now go."

Gerald nods and climbs out. Carson then climbs out behind Gerald. "alright, now what?" said Luis.

Gerald started looking around. "the city is full of zombies. The only choice we have is to head to the woods" said Gerald.

"smart idea let's go!" said Niko. They start running to the woods until they reached it. "now what?" said Jaina.

"We keep moving until we find something," said Gerald. "but where are we going to sleep?" asked Nicolas. "We can't sleep in the woods. We need shelter" said Gerald. "I think we should keep heading to the north."

They kept walking and walking. After hours of walking, they find a little shack. "There!" Gerald points at the shack. "what if someone lives there?" said Carson. "then we will kill them" said Jains as she walks to the shack. "wait! Jaina!" the others followed her until they reached the shack. "this shack is well structured," said Niko. "yeah, it is," said Gerald. Jaina tries to open the door but it's locked. "it's locked."

Jains drops her shotgun. "I will bust this door right open."

"wait what if someone lives here? We will be ruining their home" said Luis. "I don't care."

Jaina kicks the door one hard kick and it opens easily. "Voila!"

Jaina takes her gun and enters the shack. Carson sighs and then enters the shack. They all enter. "wow! This house is nice and warm" said Niko. "Indeed it is," said Luis. Jaina sits on a sofa and puts her hand behind her head. "we are gonna stay here."

Gerald looks at her. "what if people live here-"

"no one lives here. Even if there are people that live here they are probably dead by now."

"Jaina is right, we need to take some rest we can't just keep moving," said Niko. "See," said Jaina. "we are already low on food if we keep moving we will run out of food and die."

"Fine, we are saying but only for this night."

Jaina rolled her eyes. "whatever."

She stood up and started looking around. She finds canned food on a table. "guys, I found food."

"no, Jaina it's not ours," said Gerald. "but that down now."

Jaina walks to Gerald and stands in front of him only inches away from each other. They feel each other's breath. "Make me," said Jaina in a challenging tone. Gerald smirks. He grabs Jaina's hand and Takes the can easily from her hand. "Hey! Give me that!"

"Nope, you ain't taking it."

Jaina grabs her shotgun and points it at Gerald. "Woah Woah Woah!" said Luis. "put the gun down Jaina," said Carson. Jaina smirks. "Make me."

Gerald smiles. "I know you are not gonna shoot me."

"oh yeah, try me."

Gerald grabs the gun from under and quickly raises it. She shoots above Gerald. Carson runs to them and takes the gun. "Stop! Both of you."

Jaina punches Gerald in the face making him fall to the ground. "stop it Jaina!"

She spits on Gerald and then sits down on the sofa. Carson walks to Gerald and offers him a hand. "Thank you, Carson," said Gerald as he takes Carson's hand and stands up. "You are welcome, but we need to get her under control," said Carson then looks at Jaina. "yes we do need to get her under control."

"Don't worry about her. Get some rest and we will talk tomorrow."

Gerald nods to him. Finally, the night comes and everyone sleeps. Jaina slept on the Sofa, and Niko slept in a corner while covering himself with a blanket. Carson slept in the other corner, and Luis also slept in a corner. Gerald didn't sleep instead he was writing in his Diary. While he was writing he hears a noise outside the shack. "what's that?" said Gerald to himself. He stood up and looks out of the window. "please don't be a damn zombie."

Suddenly a deer comes out of the bushes. Gerald exhales. He goes back to his corner and continues writing. Then he falls asleep. Suddenly Everyone wakes up to a loud gun-shooting sound. "what the fuck?!" said Luis. "Quick! Everybody grabs their gun!" said Gerald. Everyone grabs their guns. "Shhhh, Listen" Gerald whispers. They hear footsteps outside the door. They all aim at the door. Suddenly someone knocks on the door. "Anybody home!" said a man's voice. "who are you!" Said, Gerald. "You know we saved your asses from these zombies outside. Instead of asking us who we are how about a 'thank you' first."

"We should open the door-" said Niko.

"No we don't know who they are we can't trust them," said Jaina. Gerald looks at Jaina then he looks at Niko. "You need to give us an answer!" said the man. "alright, I will open the door but you have to promise me that you will do nothing to hurt us."

"Are you out of your mind!" Said Jaina. "we need to see who they are they may have a shelter or maybe a whole community."

"Alright, I promise," said the man. Gerald walks to the door still aiming at it. He opens the door slowly until it's completely open. "see I told you we are not bad."

The man who was speaking was an african american middle-aged man. He had two people with him. The first was a white young man with Long hair and a freaky smile. The other one was a latina young woman. She had dark eyes and Black Long hair. "I'm Jason, this is Laura, and this is Micah," said Jason. "Hey there," said Micah as he smiles. "Hey," said Laura.
