"Hm?" Luke frowned, "What was that?"

He looked around and tried to sense if there was any danger nearby but found nothing.

"What is it? Any danger?" Shadow asked, his spine straightening as he became alert.

"Nothing." Luke shook his head, 'Maybe it was just my imagination. Still, it could be a sign that I shouldn't underestimate the zombie horde.'

Alice, sitting under a tree a few meters away, noticed when Luke behaved strangely and just like Shadow, she also became alert as she grabbed her sword and got ready to use her [Flame Manipulation].

When Luke calmed down, she frowned.

'Was that just a false alarm?' She thought, but decided to stay alert and pay more attention to the surroundings and him.

After resting for twenty minutes, Luke got up and left toward the city wall.

Alice walked over to Shadow, who was now trying to play with the bear cubs, and asked, "He went to capture the zombies for them to fight?"
