"Of course, your majesty. This is not the only thing." Lireesa spoke after she sat down. "Our House Windrunner can send instructors to play these tactics to maximum effectiveness."

Her words took away the King's concentration as the role of the military inside any nation was crucial. Used in the wrong hand could topple the entire ruling system.

Having Windrunner's instructor across the ranks of the rangers could increase Lireesa's influence and threaten King Anasterian's control of the military. Although his worry wasn't too much as most arcane sorcerers and important elite units were loyal to the Sunstrider family, it was never a good option to increase the prestige of Lireesa more than necessary.

"It's a good idea to have your unit train them because we lack experience." The King pondered and nodded her head but Lireesa knew he wasn't too happy. Others inside the royal court were watching from the sidelines.

"But, why don't we try it on a smaller scale and gradually transformed our ranger's doctrine." The King's suggestion caused Lireesa to frown, and the queen nudged her elbows at his waist, prompting him to glance at his wife. The queen signaled him not to refuse outright.

This all happened when Lireesa looked down in deep thought. She was conflicted about what she craved to say next and worried her reply would cost the requests from the monarch.

"Your majesty, I don't really think that's a good idea." Lireesa's head shook after she had decided. She must change the system quickly enough that everyone in Quel'Thalas was ready by the time the threat showed up.

"In fact, even though our neighbor trolls didn't harbor any evil attention at the moment. I can assure everyone, they had plans for us. The sooner we train, the sooner our readiness will be." Lireesa continued. "To be honest, our House Windrunner is poor to the point that I cannot sponsor any of these training. That's where I need your Majesty and your Excellencys' helps."

King Anasterian's face got better and Lireesa wasn't strange with his expression. Although she only knew some lore and memories related to this King, she had an overall judgment of him.

With his lifespan nearly coming to an end, all that concerned him was his heir succeeding his throne without any problems. Lireesa already implicitly had shown her support; however, it didn't mean he wanted her prestige to rise very high to impact the prince.

"So, without Your Majesty and Your Excellencies' support, this transformation is nothing but a dream." Everyone here knew for a fact that Lireesa could afford such a cost but they understood she was proving to the King, her intention was never to go against him.

The King was keen on Windrunner's 'secret' and was persuaded to transform his ranger legions quickly. At the same time, he was also aware of the disadvantages which in his opinion disliked very much.

Nonetheless, he accepted Lireesa's recommendation and gained her promise tacitly to tell the students that the royal family was supporting the training financially and other Great Houses were assisting from behind.

After the discussion ended the way Lireesa wanted albeit along with some slightly unnecessary terms. It might seem wordy but the effect due to some words could be played around in politics and demanded seriousness.

"Of course, the kingdom will never leave you uncompensated, Lady Lireesa. Tell us what you want and we can decide whether to affirm that." The king spoke with confidence as he already left a backdoor should she demand too much.

Here it went as Lireesa expected. She controlled her tone and said, "To be frank, your majesty, as someone who's part of Quel'Thalas, this is my duty. But I also want something, which currently is very important to my House Windrunner. Otherwise, I would never say this."

Lireesa paused and calmed her trembling heart. "I want your majesty's guarantee to increase my private guards' size to 10,000 preferably to guard against these trolls. Although they display no aggressive intent, we already learn histories…"

Lireesa spurted out a bunch of persuasive sentences, unsure whether her argument could achieve what she wanted. It took half an hour the conversation going to and fro before Lireesa and the King came to terms.

As a result, Lireesa's position as Ranger-General was no longer solely her family anymore; in the future, a handful of Ranger-Generals would be on the same rank as her. This was one of the means the King proposed to balance her.

Of course, as an astonishing politician, King Anasterian gave a good reason for this to happen. Even though Lireesa was aware of this move, her mood didn't change except for being exhilarated about achieving her goals.

Perhaps for the old Lireesa, it was an honor to uphold this position whereas for the current her, it was actually a shackle. Losing this honor for the additional permission to possess 5000 plus quotas was worth it in Lireesa's opinion.

In addition, Lireesa's private guards were different from other nobles' because there were no archmages in her ranks. In most opinion, where the mage's profession outputted further damages, Lireesa's rangers were not a threat. In fact, the other great houses were more dangerous when compared even with Lireesa's additional requested guards.

Lireesa didn't expect the negotiation to go well. Her excuse was in preparation to attack the southern trolls' tribes. As for the Ranger-General position, despite feeling congested a little bit, most likely from the body's reaction, Lireesa scoffed at this title because her dream was to be at least a Ranger-Lord.

On the other hand, the King was delighted with the outcome. In exchange for Windrunner's secret, increasing her personnel troops' size was nothing. Everyone got what they sought and many representatives realized Windrunner might someday participate more in the Silvermoon High-council. Those who were against Sunstrider appeared solemn, especially Dar'Khan.

With the additional Windrunner on the royal family side, his goals became harder to reach. Eliminating Lireesa was a real joke. Unlike her husband who was more like a scholar, assassinating her would be more troublesome and blow his cover instead. And he wasn't certain whether he could indeed succeed.

Wait a minute. Recalling Lireesa's disgust at him, Dar'Khan thought more and realized Lireesa might have already suspected him despite not having evidence. Lireesa was a no push-over and Dar'Khan's face went dark at the thought, such an opponent becoming a stumbling block.

Perhaps, Lireesa should hide deep and faced Dar'Khan like thunder, but she preferred the opposite. She believed her display of already knowing might impact Dar'Khan to make mistakes, which she could swiftly deal them and took him down simultaneously, removing the hidden threats of Quel'Thalas once and for all.

Suddenly the King asked, "Lady Lireesa, isn't there some happy event for you?"

"Happy event? Which one, your majesty?" Lireesa's face was confused by the sudden inquiry. There were too many to count. Should she say she had achieved and taken everything here for granted, praying no one would send her pyro blast spell?

"When're you going announce it yourself?" The King looked at her up and down while the queen beside rolled her eyes, prompting Lireesa to mouth 'ohh'.

She knew what they were talking about now. Perhaps due to the 'Book of Wisdom', Lireesa could hide her aura perfectly unlike those who recently had a breakthrough. It was as if she had been in this realm for a long time.

However, this was nothing in front of King Anasterian whose power had already tasted Demigod's strength.

"Oh! Your Majesty means that. Haha…Too many cases going on that I forget to announce. Yes, everyone, please advise me since this is the first time, I enter the Legendary Realm." Lireesa released her aura and the momentum around her grew. The wind cheered around her.

King Anasterian's and Dar'Khan's expressions became serious for a moment along with others who behaved similarly. But the reasons were different. Most thought Lireesa's combat power overwhelmed them just from her aura, while the two pinnacle Legends realized Lireesa's power was unpredictable.

For them, it meant they were likely to be at the same level, even though Lireesa just broke through. That also implied another meaning. If they were at the same level, they couldn't resist her at all. Dar'Khan was unhappy about this while King Anasterian had some worries about this hidden danger.

However, everyone congratulated Lireesa no matter what they thought inside. Lireesa also had a panoramic vision, monitoring everyone's expression. She took note of them.

She still announced, "In the following days, I've decided to open a restaurant. I invite your majesty the King and the Queen, all the excellencies here. This is going to be my treat for becoming the first ever ranger to enter the Legendary realm."

The queen palmed herself on the forehead, lamenting whether this was a treat or a free advertisement. Inviting several high-level figures would attract attention from the others.

Lireesa added: "Don't think the meals our restaurant provides are conventional. They're not. I'll not be telling for now but to leave them as surprises for all the lords here."

The King's corner of the mouth twitched, unsure whether Lireesa all along possessed such thick skins.

An hour later.

Lireesa strolled back to the hotel, her pace was lighthearted. After achieving every goal, she was indeed thrilled; the future seemed not so difficult anymore. However, she knew it was a false sensation.

Arriving at the hotel, she asked the receptionist for anything odd in her room, who shook her head in answer. She entered the room, gently opening the door. Exactly what she prepared herself for; Alleria was still asleep.

Previous high-intensity combat might have drained her daughter's energy. It was the first time for her; so, it was understandable. She went out and ordered lunch before returning to the room.

Half an hour later, food arrived and the smell woke Alleria up in a sitting position. Lireesa's forehead twitched at her natural alarm clock. Anything that interested her daughter, she would automatically wake up.

"Mother, are you back?" Alleria yawned and spoke.

"Oh! I thought my daughter only is concerned about the food and forgets her mom." Lireesa's voice filed a complaint.

"How could it be? Mother will be the best. Always." Alleria hugged Lireesa's arm to soothe the sulking mood.

Both laughed and Lireesa forced Alleria to wash up before eating. The two conversed about the royal court and Lireesa described everything which had happened. She warned her daughter about some members who she must pay attention to.

Dar'Khan's name was at the top of the list, but Lireesa never told her daughter about his future. Otherwise, who knew when Alleria would mess up her plan?

Bored when the two had nothing to do, Alleria proposed to walk around for a trip again. Lireesa didn't disagree. The two went out, viewing the scenery completely in contrast with yesterday's nightlife.

While Alleria would hop along in excitement like a young girl, Lireesa was excited when she remembered today was the day of the opportunity to recruit mages. She was a bit worried whether Kilnar would accept her terms, even though she already promised to give her guidance.

A family of three passed by her. A father, a mother, and a baby. How heartwarming. Lireesa glanced at them and a sense of déjà vu rushed toward her brain and she had no idea why.

This prompted Lireesa to stop and ask Alleria to wait for her for a while here as she quickened her pace at the family. Her sixth sense told her, she mustn't miss this moment or she would regret it for sure.
