Chapter 85: Kidnapping the Princess I

As Evileye and Arthur arrived at the location where Renner awaited, the air hummed with tension. Renner, regal in her demeanor, acknowledged their presence with a nod.

"Ancient One-sama, Lady Evileye," Renner greeted them, her eyes meeting Evileye's with a knowing glance. Though not exactly friends—unlike the canon—they have seen each other in official gatherings in the Theocracy.

Evileye couldn't conceal her surprise as she noticed Renner standing beside Arthur. The unexpected connection between the two intrigued her, and she exchanged a puzzled glance with Arthur.

"She made a deal with me," Arthur said. "As you two know each other, I won't be dragging the conversation. Before we go, I have to warn you something."

Arthur's words hung in the air, and a solemn silence enveloped the trio. Evileye's curiosity turned to a wary gaze as Arthur prepared to unveil the nature of Nazarick.

"The Great Tomb of Nazarick is not a mere fortress; it is a labyrinthine world teeming with unimaginable power," Arthur began.

"It's a place where the boundaries between life and death blur. Once you enter Nazarick, you can't go back. If you ever betray me, your souls will be shredded into pieces and tortured for eternity. And one more thing, they are not very happy with having guys, especially the female members." Arthur said seriously, then returned back to his normal self.

"Let me once again introduce myself, I am Ancient One, Ruler of Nazarick, King of Monster, Destroyer of Worlds," Arthur said as he activated his aura.

Hearing what Arthur said, Renner and Evileye knew why both Great Gods and Greed Kings formed an alliance.

Next is convincing Albedo and others. Arthur thought, of course, he could just order it and be done with it, but he didn't like such a crude method.

As they stepped through the gate, the grand halls of Nazarick unfolded before Arthur, Evileye, and Renner. The air crackled with magical energy, and the imposing presence of the tomb captivated their senses.

Albedo, the Overseer of the Guardians, approached with a graceful bow. "Welcome back, My Lord. Who are these two if I may ask?" she inquired, her eyes narrowing slightly as she looked at Evileye and Renner.

Aurora was not here as she was given other tasks.

Arthur, adorned in a black suit exuded an air of authority as he introduced his new companions. "This is Evileye, a powerful magic caster, and Renner, a strategic mind. They come seeking our cooperation against a common enemy."

Albedo's expression remained composed, but a flicker of displeasure crossed her face. As Arthur's lover, she harbored a possessive loyalty to him. However, she maintained her decorum, addressing Arthur, "Certainly, My Lord. We shall discuss the matter in private."

Guiding them through the grand halls, Albedo led the group to the opulent Throne Room. The atmosphere within was both majestic and tense as they settled in. Albedo couldn't shake the discomfort of sharing Arthur's attention with others, much less outsiders.

Arthur, seated on the imposing throne, looked at Albedo with a calm demeanour. "Evileye seeks Surshana's demise, and Renner brings valuable insight."

Albedo's gaze remained fixed on Arthur, her voice a measured tone. "My Lord, your wishes are my priority, but these outsiders don't possess even the once of our brilliance to serve you."

Arthur, aware of Albedo's loyalty and concerns, placed a reassuring hand on her arm. "Albedo, their strengths may be weak, But I believe in their potential. And Evileye has inside information about Theocracy."

Seeing that her Lord had made his decision, Albedo let out a sigh.

"If that's what you wish, it will be done. But I need to ask you, where do you want to put these two?" Albedo asked.

"Evileye is a vampire so I will put Shalltear in charge of her and Renner, I will give her a racial change item and put her under you."

"Under me?"

"Yes, under you," Arthur affirmed, meeting Albedo's gaze. "Renner possesses unique strategic insights, and integrating her skills into the leadership structure will strengthen our alliance."

Albedo, though initially hesitant, nodded in acceptance. "Very well, My Lord. I shall arrange for their accommodations and ensure their integration into our hierarchy."

Arthur, with a grateful nod, continued, "Thank you, Albedo."

It was easier than I thought, is it because I slept with her or because of the text I put in her? Either way, it's good. Arthur thought.
