A NEW LIFE

Hakuri has finally arrived at New York airport. He not only has a visa to study in the United States but also the right to a tutor to guide him on his journey. Once at his destination, he met Professor Willing Stone, who from now on will be the one who will guide him in his choices.

HAKURI : Good morning Mr. Willing nice to meet you!!

Mr. WILLING : Hello Mr. Hakuri nice to meet you.

HAKURI : So you'll be my college guide now?

Mr WILLING : Obviously your visa guarantees you help from me for 5 years, in other words until you obtain your master's degree in communication.

HAKURI : Are you aware that I'm Japanese?

Mr WILLING : Indeed we have your data, I like Japan moreover I had already been there but it dates back and it was in the city of Nagasaki, I really like your manga culture.

HAKURI : Oh I see!! I am happy to hear good appreciations about my country.

Mr. WILLING : Okay enough chatting the driver is waiting for us for home.

Several hours in the car that Hakuri and the professor took the trouble to get to know and know each other.

HAKURI : Have we finally arrived? Wow what a beautiful home!! Seriously we're going to live there? I can not believe ? My visa really has all these rights? I, who am used to living in a village, it's extraordinary to see that.

Mr. WILLING : You'll be amazed when you go in and see it all.

After this sentence of professor Hakuri made the discovery of the gigantic and well built residence which was for him at this moment the place where he will stay during several years. He took the trouble to put away his luggage, to go around in every corner and around the house.

He still couldn't believe it was too good to be true, such luxury is breathtaking.

Mr WILLING : Today you and I were going to go to Fordham University where you will do your classes from now on, for now we will file your papers and complete your registration and then tomorrow you will start your new adventure in the United States .

HAKURI : Ok I see!!

The next day he took a shower, put away his documents and then took his bag towards the car where Mr Willing was waiting for him.

On the way Hakuri discovered the vast landscape and the built buildings of New York. The most impressive for him was the height of the skyscrapers, he saw for the first time the Statue of Liberty, this statue of which his former professor had spoken so much to him. history-geography at Tokyo high school in Japan. He finally had the opportunity to admire it from the windows of the car.

HAKURI : How was such a statue made? This design is amazing. I imagine he would have to die several times to get that size, right?

Mr WILLING : Yes this statue caused the death of several people, you are indeed not wrong Mr hakuri.

The road between hakuri's house and that of Fordham university was not long for once this young boy no longer needed to wake up early to take a boat as he did in his village. Because this time it's different, he has a personal car and a tutor however he couldn't forget his grandmother whom he left in Shimokitazawa, he couldn't hide his sadness however he had to go to the United States. United to one day become a man of value!!!

Despite this fun new adventure in the United States that every student dreams of experiencing, Hakuri was still saddened by the fact that he still didn't know much about his parents. It was true that he had a smile on his face, but sometimes sadness got the better of him.

When they arrived at the University Hakuri had his eyes opened to contemplate the architecture, the buildings and the style both modern and medieval that was used

He kept smiling at such marvels as he walked towards the headmaster's office, he and Mr. Willing.

"Tok-Tok"

"Yes you can come in"

Mr. WILLING : Hello Mr. Headmaster.

THE PRINCIPAL : Hello, how are you, Mr Willing?

Mr WILLING : Very well, I am here with my rascal to register at this university,He comes from Japan at the school of Tokyo he had the best marks in the exam in his series and obtained a Visa offering him the possibility of completing the Master, to live in a house with a driver and to have a guide like me.

THE PRINCIPAL : Exactly, I see!! Obtaining such things is not given to anyone, he must have had marks beyond excellence. So what is your name?

HAKURI : Hakuri sir!!

THE PRINCIPAL : And are you physically and mentally ready for this new adventure in New York?

HAKURI : Yes sir!!

THE PRINCIPAL : Put your files on my table, tomorrow you will start classes you will have the data of your timetable in this university as a notification on your phone Stay tuned!!

HAKURI : Alright sir!!

After this quick exchange between him and the principal, he immediately went home with Professor Willing. So the professor suggested a hike in New York City so he could get used to it. They started by going to the supermarket buying clothes, then to the ice cream parlor to eat, then to the amusement park and so on.

This day was pleasant and magnificent for Hakuri who really felt fulfilled.

Back in the evening in his home he is challenged by Mr. Willing who asked him if he is interested in the ancient stories of his country before there is peace. This one replied no that he had never paid attention and that it did not interest him, So he received a book on ancient times in Japan from the professor where it was a question of war between Samurai and evil emperors of hell.
