Chapter 3: Luna and Assets

Jasmine came stumbling out of the fireplace into the Burrow. Thankfully she managed to stay on her feet, even if it was by a slim margin. Jasmine looked at Mr Weasley and decided that she would talk to him later.

The Goblin had mentioned that she had access to the Black vault when she turned into an adult or with permission from a Lord Black.

Jasmine grabbed her bag and walked it upstairs to the room that she was sharing with Ginny. Thankfully with the use of magic, she had her own bed and didn't need to share Ginny's.

Putting her bags down, Jasmine pulled out the DADA books to have a quick look through them. She quickly threw the books away.

She had no idea what Lockheart was thinking using these as books for DADA. They were nothing more than storybooks with almost no spells in them, and the ones that were mentioned were missing the incantation.

Grabbing the rest of the books, she placed them in her trunk, leaving the transfiguration book on her bed for her to read when she went to bed before walking downstairs for dinner.

Throughout dinner, Jasmine couldn't help but shoot Mr Weasley's looks as she imagined how to ask about Lord Black. After dinner, Jasmine lingered around the living room, waiting for Mr Weasley to be alone.

Seeing that Mr Weasley never seemed to be alone, she decided she couldn't wait for him to be on his own when the house was so small with so many people in it.

"Mr Weasley, do you know a Lord Black," Jasmine asked, causing the room to fall silent at Jasmine's question.

Mr Weasley gave her a strange look for a moment before he stood up.

"Why don't we speak about this in a more private place, Jasmine," Mr Weasley said, which seemed strange, but she followed him out of the house and into the shed.

There was a larger range of muggle items all over the shed ranging from an old typewriter to three toasters, an old black and white tv and a large selection of plugs.

It was very strange for Jasmine to see someone that was so interested in muggle items that were commonplace to her and no doubt all other muggleborns.

"Can I ask why you are asking about Black," Mr Weasley asked.

Jasmine noticed that he had dropped the Lord from the Black name. She found it strange as Mr Weasley always seemed very respectful to her.

"When I was at Gringotts, I was asking about my vault and if my parents had any," Jasmine said.

"Im guessing that is why you wanted a meeting with the Asset manager?" Mr Weasley asked.

"Yes."

"What does that have to do with black?" Mr Weasley prompted.

"Well, the goblin said that when I was of age, I would have access to the black family vault or sooner if Lord Black gave me permission," Jasmine said.

"I see... Black is your godfather, but he is in prison for mass murder," Mr Weasley said.

"Mass Murder?" Jasmine asked with shock.

"Yes, don't ask me why, as no one knows.

One day he killed one of his best friends, Peter Pettigrew and then blew up the street and killed 12 muggles that were just going about their day and then he just broke into laughter till the Aurors arrested him." Mr Weasley explained.

"He must have known my parents then, right?" Jasmine asked.

"Yes, he was very close to James. Maybe his death broke him," Mr Weasley said awkwardly.

Jasmine felt suspicious at the way Mr Weasley looked when he said that and felt that he hadn't told her the entire story for some reason. But she knew that if he didn't want to tell her, then she probably couldn't force him to, and it would be extremely rude to do so when the Weasley family had taken her in for nearly half of summer.

"So, the vault?" Jasmine asked, not sure what to do with it.

"It's yours once you turn 17. I wouldn't reject it, or there Malfoy's son would be able to make a claim on it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Malfoy family hoped you didn't know about the vault," Mr Weasley said, picking up a plug.

"Why would Draco be able to make a claim?" Jasmine asked.

"Draco's mother used to be Black, but then she married into the Malfoy family, so she has lost all claim to it, but if you don't claim it, then Draco could make one. I don't think people like them deserve more money, and the blacks are super rich," Mr Weasley said.

"Thank you, Mr Weasley," Jasmine said before leaving the shed.

Jasmine walked outside to be surprised to see that the two twins were waiting for her outside.

"Hey," Jasmine said awkwardly.

"You okay?" one of the twins asked.

"Ya, why shouldn't I be?" Jasmine asked.

"Well, I mean, Black is your godfather," the other twin said awkwardly.

"So his crimes aren't mine," Jasmine said.

"Well, im off to bed. Ginny is taking me to meet Luna tomorrow," Jasmine said, entering the Burrow and walking into Ginny's room.

She had walked in as Ginny was getting changed, causing Jasmine to blush. Years of wearing either Dudley's old cloths or clothes from charity shops had made Jasmine very self-conscious about her body.

It was embarrassing that she didn't have any nice clothing at all when almost everyone else did in her dorm. The only thing that she got new was underwear.

Jasmine made a note to buy herself an entire new wardrobe when she was next in Diagon after her meeting with the Asset manager.

Jasmine quickly shut the door while shooting Ginny an apologetic look before sitting down on her bed. Try as she might, Jasmine wasn't able to stop herself from looking at Ginny as she got changed to compare with her body.

Jasmine didn't notice anything that was too different when looking at her and Ginny's bodies, so she grabbed her pyjamas, the only clothing she had ever brought and pulled them on before grabbing her book to read.

Crawling into bed, Jasmine looked at Ginny to see that she was writing in some kind of diary that Jasmine had never seen her use before. Shrugging and guessing that Mrs Weasley brought it her while at Diagon, Jasmine started to read her Transfiguration book.

The next hour went by without her or Ginny talking, both lost in their books before there was a knock at the door.

"It's time to go to sleep," Mrs Weasley said, popping her head into the room.

"Okay, thank you, Mrs Weasley," Jasmine said, putting her book away and laying down in bed, closing her eyes.

Soon Jasmine drifted off to sleep.

Jasmine was woken up by the loud noises in the house, mainly from the twin's rooms, and she had long since learned not to ask them what they were doing. Then she couldn't be blamed for anything they did.

"Morning, Ginny," Jasmine seeing that Ginny was awake and writing in her diary again.

"Hey, I thought I would let you sleep a bit longer, but I guess that wasn't a realistic hope," Ginny said.

"Didn't you write everything in your diary last night?" Jasmine asked.

"Diary? I guess it can be used as a diary, but it's a charmed spellbook that you can ask questions, and it will give you an answer," Ginny said.

"Iv never heard of anything like that?" Jasmine asked.

"It was made by the head boy of Hogwarts decades ago as part of his charm mastery. He gave it to a younger student when he left to help them, and then it ended up in the 2nd handbook store," Ginny said.

"What can you ask it?" Jasmine asked, getting out of bed and walking over to Ginny.

"Well, I have been asking for the 1st year's spells," Ginny said, passing her the book.

Jasmine looked at the empty book before looking at Ginny, confused.

Ginny rolled her eyes before grabbing a quill and writing in the book.

"Hello, my name is Jasmine Potter." the ink on the pages seemed to soak in before vanishing.

A second later, words filled the page in ink "Hello Jasmine, my name is Tom. How can I help you today?"

"Can you help me with DADA for the 2nd year?" Jasmine asked, knowing the books from Lockhart would be pointless.

"Of course, what spell would you be after learning? The disarming charm or maybe the full body bind curse or the smoke charm good for hiding from your foes?" the book asked.

Jasmine looked at the book far less suspicious, given the spells that the book had listed off before writing "The Disarming charm,"

"This is the wand movement," the book went on, drawing a 6 with a spiral in the centre. "The incantation is Expelliarmus and is pronounced ex-PEL-lee-ar-muss. Remember you need to focus your intent on disarming the person, or the spell will fail,"

Jasmine was surprised at the level of depth that the book went into. Even in class, the spells were not broken down in such a manner. They just demonstrated the wand movement and said it aloud before telling the students it was their turn.

Jasmine wondered how many more people would be able to pick spells up better if the teachers used this form of teaching instead of doing the spell once and telling the student that it was their turn.

Jasmine placed the book down before grabbing her wand out of her new wand holder. Jasmine wasn't sure why this wasn't standard, given that the only other option would be to put it in a pocket, and the wand holder looked no different than a leather bracelet to muggles.

Then again, Jasmine didn't even know what would happen if a muggle was to get their hands on a wand. After all, the wand just channelled magic from the person into the wand.

Putting aside her curiosity, Jasmine focused on wanting to disarm someone before practising the wand movement. "Expelliarmus", Jasmine said, causing a bolt of crimson to shoot out of her wand and crash into the wall.

Jasmine gasped, seeing that she had hit the wall, and hoped that it hadn't caused any damage. She quickly ran over to look and was thankful that other than a slight mark on the wall, there was no real damage.

"Wow, do you know what store you got this from?" Jasmine asked.

"No, we went to four or five of them, and im, not 100% sure when mum got me this book, sorry," Ginny said as she put the book away under her pillow.

"Shame. I would love to have one," Jasmine said.

"We can share?" Ginny offered.

"Sure. Are we going to meet Luna now?" Jasmine asked.

"Ya, let's go. She said we can get breakfast there before going down to the river behind her house," Ginny said, jumping out of bed and getting changed into some muggle clothing.

"Okay," Jasmine said, pulling her shoes on and following Ginny down the stairs.

"Be back before dark, Ginny, Jasmine," Mrs Weasley called as they left the Burrow.

Jasmine followed behind Ginny as they left the land of the Burrow, looking at the car that was parked at the end of the drive. She was a little surprised that Mrs Weasley hadn't gotten rid of the car after what the twins had done.

They slowly walked into the muggle village. Jasmine was surprised at how close the Burrow was to a muggle village. It was only a fifteen-minute walk from the Burrow to the edge of the village.

Jasmine wished she had some muggle money so that she could buy some sweets from the muggle shops. She had never really had much of a chance to eat them, so she had always longed for them.

It took her and Ginny another 20 minutes after that to walk to the Lovegood house. The Lovegood house was also a strange shape, but it was far more normal looking than the Burrow was, with bits jaunting off the house.

It looked like a large rook piece from a chess set.

There was a broken fence around the entrance of the house with the Lovegood name and editor of the quibbler plaque.

"Quibbler?" Jasmine asked, having never heard of the paper or magazine before.

"It is a tabloid magazine, but it's not very popular, and most people don't take it seriously even if some things inside the magazine are actually true," Ginny said, walking up the zig-zagging pathway.

Ginny knocked on the door to see a strange-looking man open the door who looked slightly cross-eyed and had shoulder-length white wispy hair.

"Yes?" the man asked.

"Hi, we are here to see Luna?" Ginny said.

"Of course, come on in. I will just go get her," Mr Lovegood said, opening the door and letting them into the house.

Jasmine had to take back what she said about the house not being strange. The walls inside of the house half of the walls were blue, and the other half was yellow.

On the yellow side, there were pictures of what Jasmine guessed was the bottom of the sea with coral and some kind of magical fish. On the blue side, there were all kinds of magical animals that Jasmine had never seen before, and some she had, like unicorns.

A moment later, Luna came down the stairs with a big smile on her face. Luna had waist-length, straggly, dirty blonde hair and prominent silvery eyes that seemed to look through you.

"Hey, Luna," Ginny greeted Luna.

"Hello," Jasmine said as well.

"Hello, Ginny and Jasmine," Luna said back with a large happy smile that was infectious and made Jasmine want to smile back.

"Well, you girls have fun," Mr Lovegood said as he went back to the far side of the room where an old-style printing press machine was.

"Let's go," Luna said, grabbing Ginny and Jasmine's hands and pulling them out of the house and down towards the river. Jasmine was shocked at how much empty land they had around them.

Growing up in Privet Drive, there were no large fields for the kids to play in or for Jasmine to escape into.

The best they had was a playground with a tiny bit of grass and some swings, and a climbing frame. Other than that, it was just row upon rows of houses.

Though it was probably for the best, or her Aunt and Uncle would no doubt have made her sleep in the fields as punishment and play it off as her wanting to try camping.

Soon Luna had led them to an amazing place that she was surprised to see in a remote area like this. There were two pools, one to the left and one to the right, that were both fed by rivers creating waterfalls.

The river on the left had a very old-looking bridge made from loose stones that looked amazing, whereas the water on the right just seemed to come out of the side of a rock face.

"The water on the left is cold, but the water to the right is very warm," Luna said as she pulled off her dress.

"L-Luna," Jasmine spluttered, seeing her stripping down to her underwear, turning around to look at Ginny for backup, only to see her doing the same.

"It's okay. The area has anti-muggle wards, so only magical people can come here, and there are none around other than the Lovegoods and us," Ginny said, stripping down to her underwear as well and placing her clothes on a rock at the river bank.

Jasmine looked around before cautiously removing her trousers and shirt and quickly running into the hot water pool. The water was the temperature of a very hot bath.

Jasmine let out a sigh sinking deeper into the water.

"Okay, im jealous that you have this so close to your house. I may just live here," Jasmine said, floating in the water.

"Can't you just get a large bath or swimming pool in your house?" Ginny asked.

"I want something that is constantly hot, and I wouldn't get such a nice view." Jasmine countered.

"The others would probably enjoy it too if we got permission," Luna said airily.

"Errr..." Jasmine said, looking confused at Luna

Jasmine decided that it was best to not ask Luna what she meant by that. Before coming, Ginny had warned her that Luna said strange things sometimes.

"We are all going to look wrinkly when we get out, aren't we," Ginny said.

"Yep, and maybe we will be lobsters," Luna said, happily swimming toward the water pouring into the pool.

"Is she going to be okay?" Jasmine asked.

"As long as she is only there for no more than a few minutes," Ginny said, watching Luna. Jasmine swam over to the side before sinking down to the bottom and closing her eyes.

Ever since she had woken up in the morning, she had a small headache that finally seemed to be going.

Ginny, Luna and Jasmine spent the next few hours in the pool talking about Hogwarts, and both Ginny and Luna asked how the sorting worked, but given that no one else in her year seemed to know, Jasmine guessed it was a rite of passage and refused to tell them both.

Ginny looked up at the sky before turning to Jasmine " We best be heading home soon, or we will miss dinner," Ginny said before sluggishly swimming to the edge of the pool and getting out.

Jasmine let out a sigh before copying her and struggling to stand up because he body was so relaxed from the hot water.

Jasmine pulled out her wand and pointed at Ginny before casting the hot air charm that she had learned last Christmas while at Hogwarts.

"Thanks. I was worried I would have to wait to drip dry," Ginny said, grabbing her clothes now that she was mostly dry.

Jasmine did the same for Luna and herself before they all got dressed and walked Luna back to her house. Jasmine was worried she would see something that caused her to walk off.

"Bye, Luna," Jasmine and Ginny said, waving as they left the Lovegood house that Jasmine decided to just call it The Rook.

"You're going to the bank tomorrow, right?" Ginny asked as they walked back to the Burrow.

"Ya, I am hoping that maybe my mum had a vault with her items in it or something. It was at the height of the war, and they had gone into hiding. The people I have asked about my mum said she was the brightest witch of the time, so im sure she must have saved something," Jasmine asked, sounding melancholy.

"Maybe Ron said Hagrid sent you a book with pictures in them of your parent?"

"Ya, they are the only pictures I have of my parents. As far as I know, my Aunt never kept any."

"I'm sorry," Ginny said as the atmosphere turned awkward.

Jasmine didn't try and do anything to fix it and was more worried about what she would find tomorrow. She didn't really care that much about gold. Sure, the more she had, the better, but she already had an amount of money that she didn't know what to do with it.

"Hello, girls. Did you have a nice day," Mrs Weasley asked as they walked into the Burrow.

"Yes, thank you, Mrs Weasley," Jasmine said, pushing her worry about tomorrow to the side.

Dinner was another family affair that Jasmine had grown to love. She had thought having dinner with her friends and dorm was amazing, but now she knew that it didn't hold a candle to having dinner with a family, and even if she wasn't a Weasley, they had still opened their hearts and arms to her.

She wondered what her family life would have been like if her parents hadn't died. Would she have a brother or sister, or maybe she would have a few brothers and sisters? Jasmine had to blink away tears at that thought, not wanting the Weasley to see and ruin dinner.

She didn't think that she could hate Voldemort any more than she did, but as she started to better understand what he had stolen from her, she realised that she could indeed hate him more.

"You all set for tomorrow, Jasmine?" Mr Weasley asked from across the table.

"Err ya, I wasn't told I had to bring anything, so I was just going to take my key as that seemed to work as identification," Jasmine said, slightly unsure.

"Yes, it does but only in Gringotts. Never give your key to anyone other than a goblin. If you ever go to the Ministry, then you use your wand as identification though that wouldn't be a problem for someone as well known as you," Mr Weasley advised.

Jasmine made sure to remember Mr Weasley's advice. It was the small things like this that Jasmine had no real clue about and would let someone take advantage of her.

Jasmine just smiled and finished dinner making a promise that she would ask Mr Weasley about all the 'common sense that she didn't know about the wizarding world, and she was sure that many other muggleborns didn't know them either.

One dinner was over, and Jasmine joined Ginny in her room and watched as Ginny was writing in her book and trying out the spells. She was still doing the spells for year 1, thankfully.

So far, she had seen Ginny doing the Lumos spells and the levitation charm, but Jasmine wasn't good enough at charms to know if she was just okay at charms or gifted.

Jasmine lay down in her bed as the headache from the morning had started to come back, and she did her best to fall asleep.

Jasmine groaned as she woke up in the morning and looked over at Ginny, who had fallen asleep with the book open on her bed. Jasmine grabbed her wand and cast the tempus charm to see that it was already 8am in the morning.

Jasmine wasn't exactly sure if she had to turn up early to the bank. Still, she had decided that she would go to Diagon 1h early to look around the clothing shops before her meeting. If she liked anything, she could buy it after the meeting.

Rolling out of bed, Jasmine reached over to the open book on Ginny's bed before closing it and placing it on her bedside table. Thankfully the headache that she had last night hadn't persisted through the night.

Opening her trunk, Jasmine wished she had some nice robes or clothing for meetings like this, and she doubted that wearing her Hogwarts robes would work. With a sigh, she grabbed one of the two pairs of Jeans that she possessed and a long black-sleeved shirt.

Walking downstairs into the living room/kitchen/dining room, Jasmine could see Mrs Weasley hard at work making breakfast. It was strange to watch food floating through the air and landing on the table or eggs scrambling themselves as other pans started to wash themselves.

Jasmine would have loved to see her Aunt's expression to see the chaos while also seeing how easy it was for Mrs Weasley to cook a large meal for her whole family.

Jasmine had only been 6 when her Aunt had forced her to start cooking for the family, and her arms and the back of her hands still had the scars from being burned by splattering oil or stuff from the oven.

"Good morning, Jasmine dear," Mrs Weasley said once she noticed Jasmine watching.

"Good morning Mrs Weasley," Jasmine greeted as she walked into the kitchen.

"Im sorry, but breakfast isn't quite ready yet, but you are welcome to take a seat," Mrs Weasley offered as she went back to watching over the cooking.

Jasmine smiled at her and took a seat down at the table before pouring herself a glass of orange juice. It was another 15 minutes before someone else came down, and it was Percy and Jasmine guessed he was always the first of the kids up in the morning.

"Good morning," Jasmine greeted as he sat down at the table.

Percy gave her a nod as he sat down at the table.

"I best go wake the rest of them up, or they will miss breakfast," Mrs Weasley said before leaving the kitchen and could be heard walking up the stairs.

Finally, the entire Weasley family was up, other than Mr Weasley, who had already gone to work. Jasmine wondered how much he got paid for his work. She knew that in the muggle world, there was a minimum wage but wasn't sure if there was in the Magical world, and Mr Weasley seemed to work a lot.

Sometimes he was walking from the afternoon till morning or the morning till midnight, and she hadn't seen him have a day off from work yet. The rest of the morning went by with Jasmine feeling a little bored, and she didn't want to join the Twins and Ron flying outside.

"Do you want to go early?" Mrs Weasley asked, seeing that it was one hour and a half till the meeting at Gringotts.

"Would that be okay?" Jasmine asked.

"Yep, as long as you promise to stay in Diagon Ally," Mrs Weasley said.

"Yes, please," Jasmine said.

"Okay, make sure you have everything before you go," Mrs Weasley said.

Jasmine jumped out of her seat, ran up the stairs, and grabbed her Gringotts key inside a sock at the very bottom of her trunk.

Running backstairs Jasmine walked into the kitchen to see a fire in the fireplace. Jasmine grabbed a handful of Floo powder, already dreading using the Floo but knew that she had no other option of travel.

"Right, remember to speak very clearly," Mrs Weasley reminded Jasmine.

Jasmine threw the powder into the fire, turning it an emerald green before she stepped into the fire. "Diagon Ally," Jasmine said slowly to make sure she got it right.

Jasmine closed her eyes a second later before the world could turn into a blurry mess and kept her arms tucked in close to her body, and just waited for the nightmare to be over.

Soon she felt herself being shoot out of the Floo and opened her eyes just in time to stop herself from falling down onto the ground. Looking around, Jasmine was glad to see the Leaky Cauldron.

Looking around, Jasmine walked to the entrance of Diagon Ally and pressed the brick to open the passageway. She wasn't sure why this was a thing, given that muggles can't walk into the Leaky Cauldron so hiding the entrance seemed pointless.

Stepping into Diagon, she noticed that it was far less busy compared to a week ago when everyone was buying stuff for students. Jasmine walked further down the Alley, looking for a clothing shop.

She was curious about what clothing they had in and how much it cost. As she walked down, she saw a shop called Twilfitt and Tattings with a rather unassuming shop front.

It wasn't until she had gotten halfway down the Alley that Jasmine found a shop that sold clothing that wasn't robes, cloaks, or formal dresses.

Stepping inside, Jasmine could see that it looked like an everyday muggle clothing shop and was sure that the owners would be muggle-born or half-bloods.

Jasmine went to the closest rack that had jeans on them and looked at the tag on the jeans and saw that it cost two Galleons and 8 Sickles, making it around fourteen pounds for a single pair which was far cheaper than when Duddly bought jeans.

"Hello, how can I help you?" one of the staff workers asked, seeing Jasmine looking at the jeans.

"Hi, im looking for a new wardrobe, but im not 100% about my sizes. But I only came to look at the moment. I have a meeting at Gringotts in an hour, and then I was going to come back," Jasmine explained.

"Well, we can do your sizes now and look at one or two outfits, and then you can come back later?" the shop assistant offered with a large smile.

"Err, sure?" Jasmine said, a little unsure.

"Right this way, and oh, my name is Sara," Sara said with an infectious smile.

Jasmine followed her into a large changing room that was well lit with a large floor-to-ceiling mirror.

"Right, let's get you measured," Sara said, pulling out a tape measure from a drawer and tapping it with her wand.

"Right arms out like this," Sara said, showing how she should stand.

Jasmine copied her, and the tape measure started measuring every part of her body one after another. Jasmine noticed that there was a quill that was writing as the tape measure did its job.

"Do you know your chest size?" Sara asked.

Jasmine blushed red before shaking her head. She had noticed that some of the other girls, like Lavinder, had started to wear a bra, but she didn't dare ask her Aunt about it.

"Would you like that one doing as well?" Sara asked in what Jasmine felt was more like an elder sister than a shop assistant.

Jasmine just nodded, embarrassed by the situation.

Jasmine felt the tape measure wrap around her chest a few times, and she was glad that she hadn't needed to take off her shirt or anything embarrassing like that.

"Right, we are all done. Here is a list of all your sizes, and we use a colour code system on the tags to give a quick way to see if something should fit you," Sara said, handing over the parchment to Jasmine.

Jasmine looked down at the parchment and saw her measurements and then the sizes that should fit her, which was age 11, which was a dark blue tag. Jasmine wasn't surprised that even though she was 12, she could fit in clothing for age 11. She was on the small size and a bit skinny after all.

Grabbing her wand, she checked the time to see that she had another 20 minutes before her meeting and wasn't sure if she should look at some clothes or get there 20 minutes early.

After a lot of thought, she decided to spend 5 minutes looking around before going to her meeting. Leaving the changing room, Jasmine walked over to the dresses. She had always wanted a nice dress, but her Aunt said it would be wasted on a freak like her.

Jasmine looked through the dresses and wasn't sure what she should pick. Some of them looked too formal to wear on a day-to-day basis. With a sigh, she gave up and decided she needed to ask one of the shop assistants for help, but that would have to be after her meeting at Gringotts. She didn't have time at the moment.

"Will you be coming back later?" Sara asked, seeing Jasmine leaving the shop.

"Yes, if you could help me at that time, that would be amazing," Jasmine said, having grown to like Sara and her bubbly attitude.

"Of course, just ask for me if im not on the shop floor, and I will be right over," Sara said, giving Jasmine a wave as she left the shop.

Jasmine fast walked her way to Gringotts, wanting to be at least ten minutes early as she wasn't sure if she would be standing in line and didn't want the goblins to think she was wasting their time.

Once she had gotten to Gringotts, she was glad that she had come as early as she had, as the line was quite long. Thankfully the Goblins were very efficient, and it was soon Jasmine's turn.

"What is your business today?" the Goblin asked.

"I have a meeting with Blugkord at 12," Jasmine replied as the Goblin looked through a book.

"ID?" the Goblin requested.

Jasmine took off her necklace, which had her key attached to it and handed it over to the Goblin, who did some kind of check before handing it back to Jasmine.

"Neckripper will escort you to Blugkord," The Goblin said, dismissing Jasmine.

Jasmine looked over to the Goblin, who she guessed was Neckripper, given he had walked up to her at the mention of the name.

"This way, please," Neckripper asked, walking off to the side and leading her through a door into a long marble corridor.

Jasmine had to admit that the Goblins seemed to remind her a lot of Dwarves from Tolkien's work but thought it best not to bring it up. Jasmine doubted the Goblins thought highly of how they were depicted in his work.

Soon they came to a door with a gold plaque on the door with the engraving Blugkord.

With a knock on the door, it opened into an office-sized room made from marble.

"Ah, Mrs Potter, I wondered when I would be seeing you?" Blugkord said in a way that reminded her of Olivander.

"Err, you expected me?" Jasmine asked Blugkord.

"Well, you have three vaults to your name. I was sure you would ask for a meeting at some point."

"Ah yes, I guess that does make sense, so shall we get down to it?" Jasmine asked.

"Of course, time is money, after all."

Jasmine took a seat opposite Blugkord as she pulled out three files from his draw.

"Right, let's start with the easiest, the vault in your name. All of your parent's money was moved to that vault on the day of their death and has been sitting there ever since, and the total is 721,261 Galleons, 3751 Sickles and 456 Knuts.

Your parent's house wasn't deemed livable due to whatever dark magic was used there, so the Ministry bought it as a historical monument. You still have the Potter Manor, but it may need some maintenance done on it after nearly two decades of none use, but I am not sure what wards were on the manor.

The potters also have shares in a few muggle businesses and potion suppliers, which bring about 9,000 gallons per year on average, and there is a flat in London that was rented to Sirius Black, but due to his incarceration, it has been empty for near 12 years adn that is all of the Potter assets." Blugkord said, handing the folder over to Jasmine.

"Do you have the key to the flat in London?" Jasmine asked.

"Yes, but I would recommend you take an adult with you in case anything is cursed. The Black family are known for cursing things," Blugkord warned.

"I see. What other vaults do I own?" Jasmine asked.

"Well, there are the Black family assets that you need permission from Lord Black or wait till you are of age.

The vault has 160,481,929 Galleons, 751 Sickles and 0 Knuts, and that is in wizarding money and gold bars. Then there are over 2000 items of jewellery and many more items not on the list.

As for properties, there is the Black Castle which Arcturus Black used to live in till his death last year. You also have 12 Grimmauld Place, which most of the Blacks lived in, but other than Sirius Black have all either died or married into different families. And lastly, there is the Chateau in France." Blugkord said, handing over the second folder.

"All of that?" Jasmine asked, shocked at the amount of wealth that the Blacks had or, well, that she had now.

"The Blacks are or were one of the wealthiest families in the UK," Blugkord added. "Now we move onto the last of your assets, and all of this stuff came from other people either via wills when they passed away or as gifts."

"Now, we shall start with legal documents first, and that is marriage contract offers, and there are quite a few of them.

There is one from the McMillan family, one from the Malfoy Family," Jasmine's face scrunched up in revulsion at the idea of marrying Draco.

"There is one from the Nott family, the Wood family, one from the Smith family, the Diggory family and finally, the McLaggen family," Blugkord said, placing 7 letters in front of Jasmine, all unopened.

Jasmine wasn't happy that they thought she would even be open to the idea of a marriage contract. She was shocked at some of the names, like Oliver Wood or the Malfoys and guessed this must have been years ago.

"From there, we have an offer from Chocolate Frog Cards to add you to their cards; there are 8 offers for endorsements.

Then we have interview requests from Wizards Weekly, Witch Weekly, The Quibbler, Daily Prophet, Spellbound and Quidditch Times.

There was also an invitation from the Department of Mystery and, finally, an invitation for tea from Augusta Longbottom, the current head of the Longbottom family.
