It's been about two days since I watched Jung-woo get beat up by Hyun-cho and Vincent. Two nights ago, they had begun his secret night training. When I woke up the next day, the little boy had cuts and bruises and even fractured ribs the following day. I had a whole discussion with the two grown men for beating him up to a pulp, thinking he was being bullied. However, Jung-woo stopped me from reprimanding them because he wanted to do it in the first place.
"I want to learn how to fight. My power can't always protect me. What if I don't have any beasts or animals to control? I can't be a burden to you, Noona."
I was so proud of him. His going to grow up to be a fine and strong man in the future. I'll make sure to protect him while he's still learning in this God forsaken world.
TING!
"Looks like the 1st Snenario has updated." Vicent looks at a now visible window in front of him.

I read the updated window, and there was something disturbing about it.
"There's no penalty." I said out loud, "Why?" I look at Hyun-cho for answer. Out of everyone, he should have one.
"If you die during the scenario. That's it." His steady black eyes bore into mine.
My heart drops at the thought. I have full confidence that I could somehow survive it, but I don't think I can protect Jung-woo on my own.
"Should we stay here?"
"I have a place in mind." Was all he says. Did he not plan on bringing us along? I look at Jung-woo, who was busy stuffing things in his storage ring. For him, I thought.
I walk up to Hyun-cho and pull Vincent to come over.
"I know we don't know each other well, but I have another favor to ask."

It's been 20 minutes since we've left the church. We've been running ever since then. Leading the group was Hyun-cho, then Jung-woo, me, and Vincent at the back. Hyun-cho says that we were going to set up a base in Seoul University where the chances of us being protected from the disaster is high.
There were only 3 minutes left until the First Scenario began.
"How much longer!?" I picked Jung-woo up, who was starting to look exhausted. Throwing him on my back, I quickly catch up to the regressor.
"Che. We still have 10 minutes to go. The scenario will start before we can get there." He clenched his jaw.
"We'll be fine. Don't worry about it. We can fight our way!" Vincent yells from behind.
"It's a natural disaster, you dumby! That means tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, showers of lightning! You can't fight those!" I honestly hope it doesn't bring anything else with it.
"One minute!" Jung-woo shouts over my back. We run into a tunnel and out of it just as quickly.

Meu pops up and gives us his ever most sadist grins. With his wacky hat, suit, and cane. He slightly bows in greeting.
"Welcome to your very first scenario-nya! As you may already have read, please survive for 72 hours. If you do well during the event, you might get sponsorship from many of the gods and demons who have now begun to watch from above. Until then, put up a good fight, and best of luck, nya!" Before he leaves, he gives me a wink and disappears. I should teach him a lesson after this.
Out of thin air, 10 pillars of spining vortexs emerge before us. Giant and black-grey tornadoes whirl maniacally around the area. Trees, vehicles, houses, and people are lifted up in the air and are either thrown viciously back to the ground or fly up to only free falling back down.
I glare into one of the tornadoes. There were a lot of people who could not outrun the disaster. The shouts and screams with skills activating tell me there's some else inside of them.
"There's monsters inside of them." Hyun-cho says out loud. He pulls out a sword for himself and even pulls out a black metal bat. He hands it to me.
"I saw this and thought of you." He looks away and back to the situation, "Make sure to stay close to me. I can't protect you all."
I swing the bat around, getting a feel for it.
"Then let's get started."
If there was any shouting or fighting happening around us, we didn't notice. The loud roar of the tornadoes deafend everything around us. We could only see a glimpse of fighting with brught colors of skills activating and mangled bodies thrown out of them.
Four tornadoes surround us from all sides. There was a car right in front of us. Hyun-cho speeds and opens the door.
"Get in!" He yells. Vincent runs straight for the driver's seat. Jung-woo, who was running in front of me, suddenly trips and falls. The tornadoes were closing in. As clumsy as it was, I quickly haul him to my side and toss him into the open car door.
The strong wind slams the door shut, leaving only me and Hyun-cho outside.
"Noona!" The muffled Jung-woo calls behind me.
"It's gonna be fine. I'm not going anywhere! Lock the door," I yell. Holding onto the door handle for dear life.
"Marianne!" Hyun-cho was standing on the car top with his sword wedge down on the hood. I don't exactly understand the physics of how it can hold him down like that.
He sticks his hand out for me, which I gladly grab. With his arm around me, we stood against the howling wind.
"Get ready." He looks down at me. I must look like a mess with my hair being whipped around.
"For what!?!" I yell up. He turns my body around, and there I see a hundred or so flying vultures. They looked like a vulture with their featherless heads, sharp beaks with teeth, and just mean looking. However, they were a meter big with giant feet, and at the end of their wings was a giant razor like claw. Their name sounded just as scary as they looked, Vulturaptors.
Many of them were covered in blood.
"Oh... you mean get ready for that."
"You don't need to hide it. I know you can fight." As if to mock me, he adds, "Crazy bat lady." He suddenly tightens his grip on my arm and swings me around. Out of instinct, I swing my bat hitting face first on the first vulturaptor that flies to me.
"You mother f--" I sent a hard kick to its beak flying back into the tornado.
"Squawwww!" All of them scream at us as they try to get their claws on us. The car begins to sway from its spot as the tornadoes close in.
"Vincent, try to keep the car on the ground!" Hyun-cho yells. I was about to repeat what he had said, but to my surprise, Vincent responded back by freezing the whole car with ice, making it heavy and stuck to the ground.
"Ugh!" One of them landed a cut on my arm, but I progressed with the fight. I wasn't going to reveal my demonic form in my healer clothes. I look over to see Hyun-cho standing on a pile of dead vulturaptos. I especially don't want him to know. I rather people think that I'm a crazy strong healer than can fight. Not an angel and demon.
I smash my way around, kicking, punching, and swining at them. However, it seemed like there was no end to them. My stamina was starting to hit rock bottom, and it looked like our regressor was starting to get exhausted.
"We need to get to the school now!" I yell.
"Hmph! Get ready to grab Jung-woo and run."
When he slices a Vulturaptor in half, we both run back to the car and break the ice. I pull Jung-woo, and all four of us start to run towards a small opening between the tornados.
Vincent, Jung-woo, and Hyun-cho make it out. There, the school had some kind of force shield blocking the tornado from hitting the school, but the vulturaptors can break through the shield and enter one at a time.
I immediately shield Jung-woo from the danger and hold my bat up, ready to fight. There were other people besides our group making it inside the barrier with multiple casualties. Some had children with them.
"Don't. If you have any energy left, use it to protect Jung-woo." Hyun-cho cuts a creature's head off.
He's right, Jung-woo is my main priority besides looking for my sister and getting my revenge against the gods and demons. I swing my bat hard at an incoming Vulturaptor, slamming it on the ground and killing it in one hit.
"Let's head inside! Vincent, take Jung-woo inside for me! I'll hold them back!" Using my last bit of energy, I wipe out a large group of monsters as Hyun-cho clears a path towards the shield with Vincent and Jung-woo behind.
I turn to follow them, running into a full sprint. Hyun-cho breaks a hole into the shield, jumping inside with the other two. The shield was starting to reconstruct when I barely slipped inside before it completely closed.
