THE DEATH OF MINE

My heart skipped a beat as I read Hana's message. Ishida was dead? It couldn't be true. I had just seen him a few hours ago, laughing and joking with us at the bar.

I quickly dialed Hana's number and waited for her to pick up. When she answered, her voice was barely audible, and I could tell that she had been crying.

"Hello, Hana. What's going on? Is Ishida really dead?" I asked, trying to keep my own voice steady.

There was a long pause on the other end of the line, and I could hear Hana taking deep breaths.

"Yes, Shiroiki. It's true. Ishida was found dead in Street this morning. The police are investigating, but they don't know what happened yet," Hana said, her voice cracking.

I felt a lump form in my throat. Ishida was gone? I couldn't believe it. He was one of my closest friends, and we had been through so much together over the years. The thought of never seeing him again was too much to bear.

Hana listen I promised that I will Get justice on ishida's death but for now, I think it's best if I go to the police and see if they have any leads on the suspect. "I was so shocked that Ishida could do that, but I know Ishida is a good guy. I know he wouldn't do it."

"Thanks, Detective Haruki, for that information. I'll file a case against Mr. Kenshin because I believe that it was not a case of self-defense."

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line before Mr. Kenshin spoke up again. "I see," he said, his voice cold and calculated. I couldn't help but feel a chill run down my spine, knowing that I had just crossed one of the most powerful and dangerous men. But I also knew that I couldn't compromise my principles and let a murderer go free.

"As I was walking home, I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. Suddenly, a car pulled up beside me, and a group of men in black suits got out, each carrying baseball bats and knives. They approached me and one of them said, 'A line straight out of a game I played before."

"One of the men swung his bat at me, but I managed to dodge. I resisted, but there were too many of them. I refused to go down without a fight, but then someone stabbed me in the back and hit me with a bat in the head, causing me to collapse. They all ganged up on me, and I could feel blows raining down on me from all sides. Suddenly, my vision blacked out, and I wondered if this was what they called death. I felt a deep sense of regret for not being able to bring justice to Ishida, and I hoped that Hana would be fine. In my final moments, I muttered a prayer for forgiveness and apologized to Ishida, knowing that I would never get the chance to make things right."
