Special Chapter Part I

The two, mother and daughter, were still hugging each other on the bed. They alternated telling each other stories happily, while Kita lay listening in the bed beside them. He was a boy. He didn’t like wheedling his mother like his younger sister and tried to act older than his age.

Pongket had endured waiting for a long while but had not seen any sign of his wife coming back out. Finally, the young man could not stand it any longer. He opened the door to go in and see them because he knew well that Sakunthara was intentionally pranking him. She’d let him fall asleep first before following him in later, or sometimes, she’d prank him by sleeping in the children’s room until morning.

“You two, when are you going to sleep? It’s already late,” he asked his twin children, but his eyes were looking at his wife’s face in a complaining manner.

“We’re about to sleep…” Nara drawled, hugging her mother tight on the bed as she nuzzled her face into the embrace.
