Special Chapter Part IV

“That’s enough, darling,” the young man said and purposefully released his hands to tease her.

It was like Sakunthara had been yanked out of the soft sweetness of a wide-open space filled with syrup and tramped into the muddy ground.

Pongket cuddled Sakunthara’s delicate frame in his arms, embracing her in a cherished manner, pressing his nose to the smooth cheek, putting his face down the curve of the young woman’s neck.

“I know you’re tired. I’m willing to fight myself and hold on for tomorrow.”

The young man spoke in a soft voice. He pressed his nose against the young woman’s temple, kissing her again, and moved away from her touch. He flipped onto his side, turning his back to her.

‘Is this possible…?’ the young woman thought to herself, looking at her husband’s back uncomprehendingly.

Sakunthara thought things over, weighing them up. She had never been left hanging with her emotions unsatisfied like this. After a while had passed, she heard his even breathing.
