"I'm going home for a bit. Please postpone today's meeting by half an hour." Timothy picked up the suit jacket hanging on the rack and left the office in a hurry.
At Emerson family house, Elaine placed her hand on a man's waist and walked into the empty villa with a smile on her face.
"There's really no one here."
The man felt at ease instantly and kissed a coquettish Elaine in his arms. He heard her laugh in satisfaction.
"Would I lie to you?" Elaine pretended to punch him angrily, but not very forcefully. She continued, "Don't you trust me?"
"Of course I do."
The man tightened his arm around Elaine. He raised the corner of his mouth handsomely and said, "Baby, I've always trusted you."
"That's more like it."
Satisfied, Elaine broke away from the man's hold, walked around the vast living room, and then sat down on a leather sofa.
"This will be mine in the future. What do you think?"
